Very loud and one day stopped heating. Could not find any help in manual as to why it stopped working. There is a question in the manual, if your microwave Is going on but not heating, then there is no answer to that question.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Difficult to read control panel as compared to mod

Amazed it is so quiet when cooking, The control panel not as easy to see as our previous GE microwave. Have had a few weeks. So far so good. We only use for heating leftovers & tea water.

Decent microwave

Lasted around 8 years before it died. I tried unsuccessfully to repair it myself.

Since 2012 when new a sensor or door latch has gone out several times. Trips the circuit breaker. Was repaired and worked for a couple of years after that. Went out today. Also, the magnetron has been replaced along with most everything inside. It worked good when it worked, but, not reliable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It just started to make a very loud noise, I read it could be the magnetron. It still made baked potatoes, but it sounds like its going to blow, so we will be buying a new microwave. It had a good run of 14 years!
