Great Gas Range After Center burner upgrade

we really like this gas range. The dual ovens makes it nice to cook two things at once. our biggest complaint was the center burner for the griddle. it would not get hot enough to cook pancakes or french toast. Following another suggestion from a different review, we purchased another nozzle from the front left burner and replaced it in the center burner, now it is perfect. you can get instructions about this by searching for the video i created on you tube.
Pros: Performance, Features/Settings, Quality, center burner upgrade

Poor Quality

The knobs started to melt and crack after about 6-8 months, then about a year ago, part of the control panel melted and cracked off, and finally, just a couple of months ago, the control panel melted even more while boiling water (Not touching the panel) and then cracked off once it cooled and we tried to use again. Very disappointed in a range that costs what it did.
Pros: Style/Design, ease of use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Expensive Range Made with Cheap Parts

Although the dual oven is a fantastic feature, I'm extremely disappointed in the quality of the materials that make up this gas range. For the price, I would anticipate better quality. The center oval (griddle) burner doesn't fully light up with flame despite cleaning and blowing out with compressed air. The cooktop grates mar and scratch very easily. The biggest complaint is the same as so many other complaints...the control knobs are plastic with a sticker wrapped out it showing burner levels. Despite following the instructions to not leave the door open to let the oven cool off, the ambient heat that comes up from the upper oven during normal use has warped the knobs and wrinkled the sticker. For the price of this range, shame on LG for using such cheap plastic controls that warp and wrinkle with regular use...because, hey, why shouldn't a consumer expect knobs directly above the oven door to actually be heat resistant and last beyond normal use?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I like the options this product gives me

Overall, I am quite pleased with my purchase. I was not happy that as expense as it is, I had to buy a broiler pan separate. What I like best about this range is how easy it was to learn to use and having 3 racks is great. The keep warm option is one I will use a lot and it was not hard to adjust the thermostat or learn the convection feature.
Pros: easy to use

The 30" Gas Stove with double oven is very easy to use. Wanted a convention oven too. The control panel is not affected by washing the outside control panel! Cleaning the stainless steel surface, baking in the double ovens, and use of the stove top has made this purchase an excellent choice. Looks like a high end product and delivers.

We recently remodeled our kitchen. The LDG3036ST Gas Double Oven Range replaces a built in that was original in the house. One of my frustrations with the built in was the limited size. I did extensive research before purchasing this product. This range gives me more room and the double oven allows me to cook multiple foods. We really like the convection feature which has produced some delicious ribs. While I have only had the product a few months, I enjoy all the features.
We have paired this range with the LMHM2017ST Microwave Oven and are pleased with both.

Great range, griddle burner needs modification

This is a great range and you get a ton of bang for your buck. The ovens cook super-evenly and the ability to bake two things at once is huge for my large family. It's just another fantastic product from LG!
The only reason I gave the features 4 stars is you definitely need to modify the nozzle for the griddle (center) burner, it just doesn't get hot enough. I see some are ok with it but for me, it took forever to cook up some bacon and that was disappointing. All you need to do is order LG part number MFV61841503, this is the nozzle for the front left burner (12000 BTU), this is a 4000 BTU increase and really cuts back on the preheating time and makes cooking bacon a breeze. It does not make the flames exceed the griddle, in fact it's not even close. If you have any questions, there is a YouTube video on how to change it out, it's very easy. Other than that, this range ROCKS!

This oven is great. I have a single oven style in our vacation home and have added this one to our other house. It is great for cooking large meals as the two ovens are independent of each other as well as the larger oven being convection. We recommend this oven to everyone. Easy to use and the easy clean is great.
