PS4 is BOSS Mode!

I know that I've only purchased 1 game so far for my new system, but with the crazy selection about to be brought to this amazing system, I didn't wanna to all in too soon! I picked up AC4: Black Flag and even my wife enjoys watching the amazing scenery and the quality of game play. Even with my limited experience with the PS4, I can only see upwards, because it can take a game like AC4 and make it beautiful. I can't wait to see how Dragon Age 3, Uncharted 4, Kingdom Hearts 3... omg... I am actually salivating! Thanks for an amazing product! I can throw so much at it and it's got power to spare. I can't wait to see what my new PS4 can do!

The PS4 has familiar features and a lot of new ones. This product review show’s that the PS4 is a confident purchase with enhanced user characteristics.
The Console
The PS4 has a hi-tech design that stands or lays down. The new look is a huge improvement for the adult gamer. It gives the ability for small storage to fit in smaller places, and the design offers a more cutting edge look matching the designs in TV’s. The PS4 design is far from immature.

The PS4 is equipped with Bluetooth, blue-ray, and DVD play back. The hard drive has 500GB hard disk drive and 8GB of memory. The graphics are top of the line with the AMD next-generation Radeon based graphics engine. When starting the system setup is familiar and effortless. This is because PlayStation has made simple step by step instructions. An internet connection is required. The actual navigation of the home screen has a very adult feel, while the tabs for each application present the information in drop down boxes. This improvement cuts load times from having to load to a new screen as in previous models. Sony’s effort, to target an older group brings more comfort. A significant change on the home screen has the gamer purchase the time of 1, 3, or 12-month agreements to take full advantage of the system.

The PS4 comes with a Dual Shock 4 wireless controller with a wired recharging cord. The control has a different overall look with a touch pad addition. The less bulky handles extend out for enhanced grip giving the player more comfort. The controls are still equipped with analog joysticks, which have low-quality rubber that quickly tears after minimal gameplay. The touch pad is a great addition after a minor tweak here and there. My findings are the finger swipe and movements to use the touchpad were difficult and took away from the overall effectiveness.

PlayStation made an adult system complete with a new look and user home screen features that cut loading times. Even if we have to pay to play, PlayStation makes up for these discrepancies in design and comfort. The PS4 is an improved system with a hi-tech design giving it a more adult feel. If you are an older experienced gamer the PlayStation 4, is a quality purchase.

This was purchased for my college age boys. They have had the PS3 for years, so we upgraded to the PS4. They love the Call of Duty games and the graphics on this machine are unreal! (By unreal I mean they are so realistic it is uncanny!) The images look like a movie rather than digital images. It is amazing. The only complaints I have heard from my guys is that you have to pay an annual fee for some membership or such, that you didn't have to do with PS3. No biggie, it isn't much, but it was just the issue. The other complaint, still not a huge deal, is that the PS4 only plays Blu-ray. You cannot play DVD's on this machine like you can the PS3 - it will only play Blu-ray. Overall, a great system. My boys love it!

Love the PS4 and the graphics with the games. Love the fact it's a blue ray as well. Bad thing is I would like to see more games for younger crowds and wishing we could use PS3 games with it. Overall love it!!!!

I have played games on the pd4 and the only game worth playing was Destiny. I hate the pay to play concept of the ps network just like i hate xbox live. Its too expensive and you dont get enough benefit. Overall things are expensive and I dont think its worth it.

the two big downsides to this game system is that you can't play your old ps3 games and now you have to pay a monthly service to do online gaming. I had recently purchased battlefield 4 for the ps3, but when I purchased the ps4 it was not compatible.
