It seems like the industry is trending away from the advantage of the consumer. Not a very noticeable difference over the last console as for graphics. A very limited number of titles available, even a year after launch. Streaming games for rent without the option to buy. I would wait until another price drop and more games available before I would purchase.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

was greatly dissapointed in fact no ps3 game compatablity and that the ps4 is nothing special compared to the ps3 to justify the purchase of an entirely new system.

COULDNT GET UNIT TO WORK PROPERLY WITHOUT INTERNET CONNECTION NOT SURE WHAT TO DO I DONT HAVE INTERNET AND UNIT WILL NOT EVEN PLAY BLUERAY FROM REDBOX. MIGHT SELL REAL CHEAP IF I CANT GET ANY SUPPORT FROM SONY.

love my ps4

OK so ya 399.99 lot of money. But no bs its so well spent. Graphics are unbelievable. When I go back and forth between 3 and 4 I am blown away by my 4 and that's saying something. That's the least of it though. The biggest baddest best part is online game play. Where my PS3 was always looking fluid movement and online play in COD my ps4 is seamless and smooth. I am so glad that I paid 60 bucks and now my onling experience is what I remember from good ole games like quake and Tribes for those of you that can remember. Game selection is terrific. I just picked up shadows of mordor and once again I am blown away by the first and only enjoyable LOTR game I have ever gotten my hands on. All said and done I am in awe of my PS4. Take it or leave it. I am a long time gamer who has a family and business and my time I consider precious and when I get the kids to bed n wife as well its game time.
