The PS3 controllers felt like they had infinite range. It's strange that they actually got worst with the next gen console but that's what seems to have happened. I can't lay down and play, I literally have to sit with the controller pointing directly at the console and even then I sometimes feel a lag.
Also old games are not backwards compatible.
In retrospect, I'd recommend the xbox over ps4 for those two reasons.

No support for logitech steering wheels!

I bought a $300 logitech wheel 2 years ago, and now it is obselete because the PS4 won't support it. This is unacceptable, I have returned my PS4 and am jumping ship. It looks like I will be racing on PC and Xbox from now on. :(

wish it would play my PS3 game

I was so upset after taking apart my entertainment center and pulling out my PS3 and putting in the PS4. Just to find out that it will not play our games. We have 20 or so PS3 games and 1 PS4 game. I will now take it all apart again and set up the PS3.

I'll be honest of the bat. I've always been a Microsoft fanboy so typically I wouldn't even give PlayStation a chance. But I really wanted to try so of the exclusives they have coming out and so I picked one up. Pros. The graphics , the animations, everything is very crisp in the game play on the ps4. I could instantly tell a I was in for a treat first time The Last of Us loaded up. Cons. I hate the dashboard. I've always hated Sony's dashboards. Just a bunch of stuff on a generic page. I feel like PlayStation should have made this better by now. The Xbox has always had a better dashboard and personally I like the Xboxs UI better in general.But these are gaming machines so you pick your preference in your experience. I'm happy to be a dual console owner. And as my first Sony purchase I'd say for the most part I'm happy with it.

This PlayStation 4 is the console this generation that Sony ever made in history. the User Interface is clean and fast. The way Sony engineered and design the console was really surprising to me because it looks awesome.
