Not exactly what I expected

I'm big into battlefield 4 and I love recording my highlights onto the ps4's HDD. I thought that using this camera to say "Playstation, record video clip" or something like that would have worked in game, after all there is a command for it. It says that the voice functions cannot be used in game. I thought maybe that's because it could be set for chat priority, but that doesn't seem to be the case either as I disabled it and it won't let me use it for commands either. I could be wrong, maybe I didn't fiddle around with it enough or something. The Playroom app which was made for this camera is excellent though, my friends and I (who are all in college) admittedly did get a little too excited about it. It's a great little device but has very limited functionality and that's what brings it down in my opinion.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A very fun accessory to the PS4. Has really good microphones. There's not a lot to do with it now but there will be in the future.

Far better than the Playstation Eye. It has better image quality and motion tracking. The only negative that I have found for me is when using the voice commands, I have to really speak up (probably because I sit about 12 feet away from it).

Not for Everyone

Just purchased and realized that the cable is only about 6' feet long and has a unique cable adapter so it cannot be extended making it completely unusable to me.
I have a 46'' flat screen mounted on my wall and all cable are currently being hidden behind the drywall. They are feed thru and come out about 6' feet way (so I need 2 feet to go from my TV to the Wall, 6' to go all the way thru the wall and about 2 feet to go to the PS4). Cant imagine I'm the only one who would need to have a cable 10' feet long. This is a huge flaw in my opinion and will surely prevent many owners from being able to use it the camera.
