"I love that this dryer is energy efficient first off--but it is so easy to use too! It also checks your loads for you to see if they are done, adds on a little extra time if they are not so that when the timer goes off, they are just right

great match with wm2016 washer

Combined with the matching washer my drying time on normal clothes is probably averaging about 30-40 minutes. Thats about 40 minutes less than my old dryer. A few loads have dried in 20 minutes!The unit is quiet, efficient, and huge inside. I can't image anything not being about to fit in this thing.So far I have absolutly nothing negative to say about this unit.

A dryer is a dryer is a dryer. Right? Well, I must admit that a clothes dryer is a pretty standard thing and there is not much it can do but dry your clothes, unlike a washer that can clean well or not, spin out water well or not, etc. The clothes either get dry or they don't. I got this dryer to match the low-end washer 2016. It only comes in white. It's super cool looking and it does the job well. I like the push button controls and the size of the filter; it's huge compared to my old dryer. And it also has a reminder to clean the filter with every load. Downside of that is you get used to it and ignore it after a while. It becomes part of the scenery just like a pothole in the road or something. My favorite thing about this dryer, I hate to admit, is the little tune it plays when the clothes are done. It doesn't take much to amuse me I suppose, but it's a nice little touch. It's hard to judge quality of something that you have only had for a few months, but so far I'm thrilled. I was set on LG because of the direct drive; belts are the first thing to go on older-type units. They either get stretched out or they break, and it often costs more than it's worth to replace them. You won't be sorry if you get this dryer, particularly if you get the matching washer 2016 at the same time. Very nice pair. One of the best home purchases I ever made.

Best Dryer Ever

This is the best dryer I have ever owned. One of the best things I like is towels get dry the first time every time. I love the little tune it plays when it finishes drying. Better then the buzzer on my old dryer that would startle the heck out of you. It is super quiet, and the lint tray is very easy to get to and clean and you are reminded everytime you turn the dryer on to clean the lint tray.

When my old dryer died, I used it as an excuse to replace both washer and dryer. After extensive online research, I chose this dryer together with the 2016 washer, and I am very happy with the combination. Because the washer spins out so much water, the dryer finishes in half the time - big energy savings. I like the extra low temperature option for delicates. The moisture sensor is acurate most of the time, but I've had to re-set the dryer for an extra few minutes occasionally with mixed loads - still better than over-drying. And the chime is so cute!

We purchased the dryer 6mos. after purchasing the washer. We absolutely love the matched pair our energy bills have dropped and the dryer is very easy to use. Our next goal is getting the bases for the washer and dryer.

I bought this dryer along with the 2016 washer and I can't say enough good things about these machines! They pay for themselves in savings in both time and money. The dryer works so efficiently along with the washer that my items dry in half the time that it took my old dryer. Both machines are so easy to use my 14-year old son is now doing laundry on his own! Thank you LG!!
