I have had several experiences where the #74 cartridge was half full. Do you inspect these cartridges before shipping them? If not, I'd suggest you do.

No ink in cartridges

This is my first purchase of HP ink and am alarmed at the rate at which the cartridge empties. Out of all of the printers I have owned, the priinter is amazing, but don't like that the cartridge is only half full after printing 15-20 text-only pages.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

installation easy. took a while for printer to recognize the print cartridge. said often it was wrong. printed well for about twenty pages then began losing readability, alternate lines very light. took a long time to get to the particular help page , after running through all of the normal list of how to solve the issue. Now I need to find some distilled water in order to clean some part. Hopefully it will work.
