An excellent first album from the Fratellis, it has a sort of manic energy and crazy excitement. You won't be able to sit still through the entire CD...instead you'll be dancing around like a fool. Full of hooks and catchy lyrics, you'll be singing along the first time you listen to it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Stunning Debut

Perhaps the most accomplished debut rock album I've ever listened to. They are bristling with energy and cleverness and alternate between catchy rock anthems and songs with a punk flair, almost all with a romantic overtone that softens the edges and adds some depth.
Highlights: Chelsea Dagger, Got Ma Nuts, Black and Blue Eyes.
It's one of those albums that you start out liking a couple of the songs and then the others slowly grow in you till you just love it all. I can't wait to see what they do next.
Note: in the copy I bought months ago, I also got a code included in the packaging for download from the band's site one extra song called 3 Skinny Girls.
I would recommend this to a friend!

"Whistle For The Choir" was the first song that I had heard from this CD, which is filled with great songs.
There are some songs which can be considered as "filler" material and don't have a positive impact on the album.
"Whistle For The Choir" and "Costello Music" are two unique songs that have a GREAT sound.
I would recommend this to a friend!
