Had to have the Compressor replaced twice in 6 mos

Loved the Refrig for the first year with two ice makers. However NOW we have had to have the compressor replaced 2x and looks like again. Without a Refrig for 6 weeks each time and hard with Holidays and family. Tech said he can not keep up with the demand of compressors to be replaced. Trying to get rid of this very expensive kitchen decoration and get a Refrig that we can use for the next 10 years. Do not buy this model.
Pros: Style/Design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Want my money back

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this last year thinking I was buying one of the best new technology on refrigerators but last month it just stop working . Not cooling or freezing. This is a nightmare . Even worst when we just had a couple of days reaching temperatures up to102 .I wish I could get my money back and buy and old model but worth the price but more important reliability . I'm so disappointed. I hope soon we can have our money back or at least an LG technician fixing this mess.
Pros: Style/Design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the LG LFXS29766S and 11 months later I came home from a weekend trip to a wet floor and all of my food in the refrigerator and freezer ruined. after almost 3 weeks of waiting for repairs I still have no refrigerator. We are waiting for a compressor, dryer and a switch that have gone out. I paid over $2,700.00 for this refrigerator. Not a quality product and I hope someone has the means to file a class action suit on LG.
Pros: Style/Design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

DOOR DOESN'T CLOSE WELL
on June 20, 2016

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I BOUGHT THIS ONE WEEK AGO AND THE DOOR IN DOOR FEATURE IS GREAT BUT THE MOST EXTERIOR DOOR DOES NOT CLOSE FOR ME. YOU REALLY HAVE TO PUSH IT HARD AND HOLD IT IN SO THAT IT STICKS; TOTALLY DEFEATS THE PURPOSE OF HAVING THIS EASY OPEN DOOR FOR MY KIDS WHEN THEY CAN'T EVEN KEEP IT CLOSED. BUMMER.

BAD!! DO NOT BUY!!
on December 12, 2018

Bought this refrigerator 2 years, 8 months ago. Thank goodness with 3 year extended warranty. Took a week for a technician to come out to look at it. First thing the technician said: " Those LG refrigerators are know to have issues with the compressor"
Now a compressor needs to be ordered and it will be AFTER Christmas, before it comes in and can be installed, which means I have NO refrigerator over the holidays!!!! And what happens if this compressor also fails? Do I need to spend several hundreds $$ on more warranty?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
