The dpad is so much better. The original is so much squishyer. The new one even makes menu selection better. Much less frustrating. I'm not sure why it converts. Probably ms not wanting to admit that it was terrible. Why would you twist to put it into terrible mode?

It's a solid piece of gear. Fits great in my hand, hasn't broke after a few months of heavy use. Works great with windows 8, a lot of games have built-in support for Xbox 360 controllers.
It's just an excellent controller.
What's great about it: Ergonomic, easy to use, works with windows 8 flawlessly.
What's not so great: Not every PC game supports controllers.

I love camo, so this was a great excuse to replace my original X-Box 360 controller. What's great, is it plays and has same tactile feel as the original! I have used other controllers, and some do not have the same tension in the sticks, or same feel of the buttons and grip. I needed no time to adjust to this new controller. I am very pleased with the build quality and like I said, it's camo!!!
