This controller installs fine and plays games well but if you really come down to it the DPAD is not great. It misses some key presses and just by playing with the thing for a while you will find this to be true. Perhaps the best option is to wait for the XBOXONE controller to drop for the PC. It's up to you to wait or not though not waiting this time around was worth it for me!

Seeing that I have played console games for years and just recently started PC gaming, the wireless Xbox 360 controller was a great addition to my arsenal. I prefer mouse and keyboard for FPS games but really enjoy the controller for games like Assassins Creed and a few others in my collection. Really wish the controller come with the rechargeable battery and cable and that it wasn't an added expense, but oh well, I have it now.
Hardcore gamers look down on you for using a controller but for someone just making the transition, it has really helped make the transition a little easier as I become more comfortable with mouse and keyboard.
