An almost perfect gamepad

In terms of gamepads, the XBox 360 controller is as close to perfect as you can buy. Outside of the subpar d-pad, it gets everything right. The size is perfect and it's very comfortable to hold. The cord is surprisingly long and connecting it to a PC is as easy as you can get (plug and play, no installation or drivers required).

What's not so great: D-pad is subpar

Bought this as a replacement for an old gamepad that was not USB. Plugged into my Win7 PC and worked right from the start. Setting up the buttons within a game can be complicated, as the controller's buttons/triggers have code names.

The move to wireless is fine and all BUT dealing with batteries is a pain. My primary reason is if you play long enough or maybe due to interference there is a perceptible delay of maybe just milliseconds but the corded model "feels" more responsive to my actions.

What's not so great: Havent found anything about the product that isnt great.

I use this for all manner of PC games, and even emulators.
It works effortlessly with windows machines, just plug it in, and windows will grab the drivers for you.
There's not much else to say, it's a 360 controller, and it works great. I've had one for years and never had any issues using on a PC.
The cord is also long enough to use on the console in a pinch.

I would recommend this to a friend!
