The controller is my second favorite, it feels great, installs easily on windows vista and newer. The chatpad will not work on the pc unless you use third party software tough. I saw cheaper controllers but I opted for Microsoft. The worst thing is that after I moved, it is really picky about how the wire lays!
All in all, it is a great controller.
What's great about it: Feel, Performance, Setup
What's not so great: Durability
I would recommend this to a friend!

I managed to pick up one of these on sale for $35 and I believe it is well worth it at that price point. At the normal $50 I would not have bought it unless it came standard with a rechargable battery.
It has worked flawlessly for me and I love not having cables running to the controllers.
What's great about it: wireless
What's not so great: normal price for features
I would recommend this to a friend!

good buy. i mean, might as well buy the white for cheaper. if you feel like differentiating your controller from others get it. OR wait for the red one coming soon.
What's great about it: sweet controller
What's not so great: thumbstick wore out kind of quick. but 6 ppl use it often

I recently bought the new elite and got another wireless controller so that I could play with my friends when they were over.
The elite in general has a lack of black accessories to go with it so its something to consider. Other than the black headset that came with it I have to use the white one for my 2nd black controller.
Also microsoft doesnt have a black charge kit so I got the nyko one which the batteries arent quite the same shape.
What's great about it: Black
What's not so great: lack of other black accessories
I would recommend this to a friend!

Standard wireless controller for xbox 360. The only drawback is that it comes without a rechargeable battery, but I already have them so it was no big deal. If you don't have the rechargeable kit, be prepared to go through a lot of AA batteries and that can get costly.
