TV works good. Smart Hub has slow response on 50 Mbps cable internet.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Inexpensive, Lightweight, foreign apps
Cons: Did not meet expectations, apps needs improvement unable to load personal app, slow processor speed, 2 gbs memory needs more.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great TV with big misses

This TV has an outstanding picture - great detail and color. While advertised as a smart TV, it is not very smart. They have a big functionality miss...the lack of a bluetooth keyboard capability. This is such a big miss, I cannot recommend it as a smart TV. Unless you want to stretch a USB cable from your TV to your viewing position, it makes using this TV for anything that requires key entry (like surfing the web) totally useless.
Go find another TV if you want smart TV functionality.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: lake of bluetooth keyboard capability.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great buy, great TV

I have been looking for a while to replace a 40 inch TV, this 50 inch is just the right size, out of the box the color was fantastic, the set up was very easy, the sound is terrific. I can't wait to enjoy the Super Bowl on my new Samsung Smart TV.

Only needs one adjective- OUTSTANDING! Very easy to setup. Bluetooth/Wi-Fi/Internet auto setup is far superior to other brands I have bought. The HD picture is also superior to other brands. Although the purchase price of this TV is a little more (very little!) than comparable sized and optioned brands the superior performance is well worth a few more dollars. Additionally, Samsung support is second to none!
My only complaint or disappointment is with the remote control. The layout of the buttons is illogical causing me to fumble when more than one control needs to be pressed. The overall size of the remote is too small for even average size hands.
NOTE- I am an over 20-year veteran of consumer electronics repair service
Pros: great options, bright quality display, superb $$ value
Cons: remote too small, remote layout illogical
