I have only had the t.v. a few days but I am thoroughly enjoying it.
When we first set it up, I was concerned because we had a 6 inch border on both sides of the screen and we tried everything we could think of to correct it.
I finally called in to customer service and the representative had me do what we had already tried . . to no avail. After ascertaining that I had a cable box, he attempted to walk me through the process, but I had to leave so I called my cable provider back later and was able to get rid of the borders.
Now I have the full screen and am very pleased, both with the customer service and the t.v.!

You need to include SlingTV in the SmartHub app

I'm very disappointed that I bought a "Smart" TV in June 2016 that does not offer access to SlingTV.
Pros: Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, doesn't offer slingtv
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Heads up to the Smart 5-Series Smart TV. Samsungs innovative approach to 2017 family entertainment ,has 5 Star rating across the boards again. Making inexpensive electronics, marketing entertainment values and quality above other retail competitors . My family has enjoyed this and many other Samsung products. I truely believe you and your family will too.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Durable, Inexpensive

YOU THINK MANY COMMON & POPULAR APPS WILL BE AVAILABLE, BUT THEY'RE NOT. SOME USED TO BE BUT AREN'T ON EVERY MODEL. THERE'S NO OBVIOUS WAY TO GET APPS THAT ARE OUTSIDE OF WHAT'S OFFERED. IT'S LIMITED AND LIMITING. INSTRUCTIONS, HELP INFORMATION, IS INSUFFICIENT OR VAGUE.
