THIS WAS A PRESENT FOR MY 5YR OLD DAUGHTER FOR HER TOY ROOM. SHE LOVES HER SAMSUNG T.V. AND SHE PRACTICALLY LIVES IN HER TOY ROOM NOW. SHE CAN PLAY WITH HER TOYS WHILE WATCHING HER FAVORITE CARTOONS AS WELL AS BROWSE THE INTERNET FOR HER FAVORITE SITES LIKE NICKELODEAN, DISNEY AND EDUCATIONAL WEBSITES. GREAT TV FOR THE PRICE YOU CAN'T GO WRONG WITH THIS ONE. THE PICTURES AREN'T CLEAR BECAUSE THEY WERE TAKEN WITH HER DREAMTAB. BUT TRUST ME YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS T.V.
We purchased this television six months ago and I am still happy with the purchase. Very crisp clear image. We have 6 children, three of them under 10 years old. The TV is robust to all of the abuse they can heap upon an electronic device. The screen is easily cleaned and not easily damaged. I would definitely make the purchase again.
We replaced our older HD tv last month with the Samsung model UN48J5200. We've been delighted with this tv. Love how easy it is to switch to Pandora, Netflix, etc. The quality of the picture was perfect right out of the box. Would certainly recommend this tv to anyone.
I received this TV for my bedroom. I like the fact that I did not have to get an additional box for my room. The TV took care of the Netflix, HULU, VUDU and additional add on. The clarity and ease of use is terrific - Samsung always does a great job with it's products.
So far I love everything about this TV! Very easy to hook up and set up. The one thing I'm confused about is why I can't change the channels from the remote it came with or use the guide button (it says it is "not available"). Everything else works great but I have to use the remote that came with my cable box to change the channels and bring up the channel guide. Anyone else have this issue?
I have only Samsung TV's in the house at this point. Product is great, with good pricing and great features. I had the previous TV 32" which stopped working. I think it was about 9 years old and based on my research I believe the capacitors needed to be replaced. However, I figured this was a good time to get a new one, and I found a great deal on this UN43J5200 series. So far picture quality is excellent, and set up was a breeze.
I have 5 samsung tv's in my home. I would never buy another tv without it being an Samsung. The tv is clear, sound is wonderful, easy to use especially the setup. Setup automacially was done for my directv functions remote.. The smart hub is great too. I love my tv.
While I overall love this TV...one of the things I didn't know about Smart TVs before I made my purchase is that some TVs allow things like Verizon FIOS apps, and others don't. Unfortunately, this TV does not have the Verizon FIOS app allowed on it, which is a huge disappointment. The other issue I have is that it doesn't play Java based videos, which, when surfing the internet on the TV is a problem. So I just caution you as you are searching to make sure that the TV you want has all of the features you're looking for. I didn't even know to ask about these types of things!! Other than that though, it's a great TV...picture quality is great, I'm easily able to stream from Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon. It's lightweight and was easy to mount on my wall.
