Easy to set up

I don't know why I waited so long to get this, but I'm enjoying every minute of it. Very easy to set up and well worth what I paid for it. My only problem is that I should have gotten a bigger one. Oh well there is always next year

Has a great looking display and the sound is better than my other tvs .Very easy set up and easy to get additional apps through smartHub.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Lightweight

Be Prepared

This is a great TV from what I can see so far but I learned a few things that are worthy of comment.
1) As a household that depends on cable for internet and TV, I find that I need to have a cable company supplied converter box in order to make full use of the HD that comes standard with this TV. Simply plugging the coax. cable into the back of the TV itself will actually result in blurring of images since the TV's "refresh rate" seems to enhance everything, including flaws that present on non-HD channels. The cable box fixes all that, apparently. BTW, the TV that this unit replaced was never paired with a cable box, prior, so, it looks like I might be getting an additional cable box, now.
2) As others have reported, the speakers on this unit are sub-par, to say the least. A sound bar with sub-woofer or other such audio add-on is highly recommended. Keep in mind that, depending on the sound bar you get, your TV will need to be sufficiently elevated so as to allow for the remote control for the TV to actually have a clear shot. Unless you like doing over-head presses every time you want to use a function on the remote, I recommend you plan accordingly. Also, unless there is some other way to integrate the sound bar with the TV when using the sound bar to control volume, you will find that there is NO display on the TV that will pop up, showing you what the volume level is for the sound bar. And how could there be? It only is connected by audio cable, not video, after all.
3) I can't complain. This unit was a birthday present so, over all, I love it!
Pros: Inexpensive, Bright display, Lightweight, sleek design, familiarity with samsung products
Cons: speakers are pretty bad, navigation of the remote is a bit clumsy in spots

Really a step forward Smart TV

Easy setup is almost automatic. Right to the point thinking about new TV buy a Samsung Smart TV outstanding features picture and sound.

Problem is, we have had internet connection problems. It will not stay connected and the message board tells us to contact our service provider. I and hoping support will sort this out.
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations

This is a great t.v.

It has great features as a smart t.v. You can use it to browse the web. And it has all programs like Netflix, hulu etc. And the picture and other features are great!

After many purchases of LED TV's of another brand, this was our first Samsung. So far so good. Great features, easy setup, easy to wall mount (lightweight).

Great TV

Purchased this for the bedroom and it is truly a great upgrade to my old TV. The only design feature I have a slight problem with is that I am never sure that the TV is off. It is connected to a High Def. box and when I turn it off it is hard to see the very small light on the bottom of the TV and a few times I missed the "beam" and the TV was actually still on. I'm aware of it now and I always check it, but I wish the light was in a better place. All-in-all, great TV for the money.
