Good product to eliminate wires to rear speakers

Wanted to eliminate wires going to the rear speakers on my Sony DVD home theater, couldn't get s-air as Sony has stopped supporting those. This product is able to wirelessly stream sound to my rear speakers and I can also increase the audio level for the rear speakers using this. I am very satisfied with this product.
What's great about it: Wirelessly stream music to rear speakers
What's not so great: Nothing yet

I don't want to say much, but the system meets all my needs. I have been using it for about 7 months now and it works just as advertised. It saved me running speaker wire through my Man Cave! Everyone once and a while there is a 'pop' but they are few and far between.
What's great about it: Just works
What's not so great: sound 'pops' when not being used infrequently
I would recommend this to a friend!

My ideal surround setup

With tile floors and being too lazy to run wires for a surround sound system, the Rocketfish wireless speaker system was a dream come true. The setup was immensely easy and the seperate volume controls make balancing the rear volume a snap.
What's great about it: Easy set up, decent price
What's not so great: Sometimes underpowered
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy to hook up and worked perfectly out of the box. An easy way to connect surround sound speakers without wires. The only negative comment is there is no battery back up for the receiver. After a power disruption you will need to manually reset.
What's great about it: Easy hook up and works great
What's not so great: No battery backup for power disruptions

Setup was very easy. Needed to use two (2) Speaker Kits as I have a 7.1 system and have four rear speakers. The transmitters are about twelve inches apart and the speaker receivers are about three (3) feet apart. No Issues with communication for both units transmitting different sounds. Sound quality is very good. If you are looking at eliminating those wires going across the floor this is your solution. At the rear speakers you will more then likely have to adjust the volume on the receiver for your listening pleasure. Just a turn of the dial and you're good. I was concerned after reading a few of the reviews, took a chance and I'm happy I did. Very Satisfied and the System works much better than expected. For the price you will not be disappointed.
What's great about it: Easy Setup, Works Better Than Expected
What's not so great: Popping in Speakers Once in Awhile.

Works Great on multiple floors

This works great using the Pioneer receiver in the basement and Dynex speakers on the first floor. Sound quality is great, haven't lost the range or quality, even when I've moved them up to the 2nd floor and the outdoor patio. Setup took a little while in figuring out which speaker connections to use, because I have a 7.1 setup in the basement home theater, but after figuring that out, works great, particularly with the Pioneer airplay feature
What's great about it: Good range and sound quality, fair price
What's not so great: setup a little more complicated than directions indicated
I would recommend this to a friend!

I purchased this kit for my father-in-law who was setting up his surround sound system. At my home, I have a slightly different Rocketfish wireless rear speaker kit that works great. It's the universal wireless HD audio starter kit that doesn't appear to be sold anywhere anymore. My set-up works flawlessly, so I figured this Rocketfish kit would be a good choice.
Unfortunately, once we set up the kit, no sound was transmitted to the rear speakers. If we hard-wired the speakers, everything worked great. But once we introduced the wireless kit, the rear speakers would have absolutely no sound.
I can't tell you how many times we tried to pair the sender and receiver boxes, switch out the speaker wire to a different gauge, or simply re-connect the wires to all of the speakers or wireless units. Nothing ever worked!
I returned this kit to the my local Best Buy, incredibly disappointed by this Rocketfish creation. If I could still find the HD Audio starter kit in a Best Buy, I would have purchased that one in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, we had to settle for hard-wired rear speakers this time around.
What's great about it: The idea
What's not so great: The fact that it didn't work
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This works great with the setup in my family room. I have had no connection issues between the transmitter and receiver. I love that it is a universal design so it will work with any receiver/speaker combination.
The sound quality is good for surround sound effects, but if you listen to music in 5 or 7 channel stereo, you can hear the degraded quality of sound. Not a big deal for me, but may be to you.
I have not noticed any delay in sounds from movies or TV, but I made sure to re-run the audio setup in my receiver, so it could re-calibrate to the wireless setup.
I was able to hide the receiver unit behind my couch, but it is kind of big so it will work best if you can hide it behind or under some furniture.
Overall nice product at a good price!
