My previous surround speakers were hardwired up through the ceiling and across the attic. Not this time. My son had a similar set up and recommended it. I wasn't all that convinced after seeing some of the issues noted in reviews, but can happily report none of those quibbles apply to my set up. There's no noises coming from the rear speakers, the sound field is excellent, and I am a satisfied customer. It's not completely wireless, as you do have to run wires from the rear box to the speakers, but that really shouldn't come as any surprise to anyone.

Sounds great, connects properly, but it interfears with my wifi. I was happy with not having exposed wires (I live in a Town House) and my home theater system sounded great. Almost immediately I had problems with my Roku and computers on my wifi system. I did all the usual resets but nothing helped. I found that there were others that had this problem. I turned the RockFish transmitter off and my wifi works great. Turned it back on and problems started again. I would not get this system if you have a lot of wifi connected devices.

I wanted this product for a long time, but never actually got around to picking it up the many times I visited the store. After receiving a gift card for Christmas, I finally decided to go ahead and pick it up.
I had plans to hide this piece in my attic and run speaker wire behind the walls to my wall-mounted rear speakers, but now I'm really not sure what I'm going to do to solve my wired rear speaker issues. My preliminary installation was with the equipment sitting on my living room floor with no major obstructions to hurt performance.
Unboxing the piece, I found easy to read instructions and a simple 5 minute setup. After setting it up, it took about 30 seconds for the two pieces to connect before functioning properly. Once the transmitter and receiver were synced, I fired my surround sound up and instantly heard a slight delay in the rear speakers. My advice to customers who already have a surround sound system is to check and make sure you can alter speaker latency before purchasing this piece. You will have to delay your wired front speakers a bit because of the delay to the wireless rears.
That aside, we continued watching our basketball game all while ignoring the echo-like delayed rear sound. Soon after setup, the system began malfunctioning. It was popping and cracking like crazy. I turned it off and powered it back on. The interference or whatever it was ceased. We continued watching the game until the sound started cutting out. This is when I decided in my head that it was going to get returned, but I left things connected, hoping it wouldn't interfere much more until I had a chance to disconnect it at halftime. This didn't work, though. The system began popping and cracking again, making all sorts of terrible noises. I immediately got up and started re-boxing the package. It's halftime right now as I write this, but as soon as the game is completed, I'm returning this thing for a refund.
What's great about it: Not much. Easy Setup, I guess.
What's not so great: Terrible sound quality, inconsistent and delayed signal

I have had this for less than a month now and the wirless box that plugs into the receiver is dead. Additionally, I have experienced the popping sound that others have mentioned. Unfortunately, there are not any other options out there for wireless speakers. I will swap for a new one and see how long that one lasts. If that dies, then I may have someone come to install the rear speaker wires under the carpet. I wish there were a better product on the market for this purpose.
What's great about it: Good sound
What's not so great: Popping noises and dead unit after less than a month

While the system does work. You have to turn switch on and off manually. Would prefer it shut off when stereo goes off. Sound will cut in and out from time. Which kind of kills the true surround effects.

Hooked this up within minutes- this was the best part of the unit. The volume to the rear speakers was perfect. The speakers kept making a crackle sound almost as if they were blown. There is not much room for adjustments, basically volume up and down. I tried the volume in every position, I just could not get the crackle sound to stop. It may have been caused by the cordless phone, 1 out of 5 cell phones in the house, the two wireless router signals in the the house 1. from internet and the other one for media equipment.
I disconnected the unit and threw my kid into the crawl space now I am hard wired and everything sounds great.
What's great about it: No need to carpet fish or run wires all over
What's not so great: Makes a crackle sound every couple of minutes

I had a terrible connection between the sender and receiver. Sound was always cutting in and out. I could never have a constant connection for more than a few minutes which is extremely frustrating when trying to listen to anything. I live in an apartment so maybe there were too many wireless signals going around but I just couldn't get any consistency out of this setup. I even moved my wireless router to another room but that still didn't help. I guess there is no substitution for the good old wires.

Product was easy to hook up. Ran one wire from the wireless receiver to each speaker, ran two wires from the stereo receiver to the wireless transmitter. Plugged it all in worked great right out of the box.. No interference from my wireless network or phones. No static and plenty of volume.
What's great about it: Works great and easy to install.
What's not so great: Good value but could always be cheaper.
