Great solution for those rear speakers

I didn't want to hassle with trying to fish cable through an outside wall filled with insulation. Now I hide about 6' of cable and run it into this under my sofa. Works great with no noticeable loss of sound quality. I'm obsessed with how clean my music can be and I was worried I would lose sound quality. Not a problem. Easy solution and cheaper than running 60' of cable.

I was reluctant when I purchased this unit due to some of the reviews. However, the unit works great and was simple to install. I know longevity has been a concern. I will re-post if that becomes an issue. So far it has been an awesome solution to having ugly wires running to back speakers.

The speaker kit works well. It includes speaker wire, albeit a high gauge, to connect to the stereo itself. However, it does not include speak wire for the connection of the rear speakers to the receiver in the back of the room. This might be good as you are free to choose the gauge of your choice for a slightly better experience. Overall I would highly recommend the box for someone that does not want to run speaker wire across their living room.
