This is the second one of these that I've purchased because it works for wireless remoting a pair of speakers to the back side of the room where my family watched TV, specifically my in-laws. This allows them to hear dialog and such while watching programs without the volume to be terribly loud. Simple setup for 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound

I had a wireless transmitter/receiver setup for 7 years and it finally croaked and was no longer available. This replacement works just as well or better. The AV receiver speaker outputs are wired to the transmitters (one for left surround and back and the other to right surround and back). Absolutely flawless operation.
