Out of the box, I was having issues with it, did not consider the range getting smaller with each wall in-between the two devices, in my case 3. Eventually i moved my receiver to another closer room. Speakers sound great! No problems so far!

Let me tell you about this system.. I wanted to be outside and still hear what's on the TV. I didn't want to run wires all through the frickin' house, I mean after all I'm a dude trying to listen to my TV outside, I'm lazy if you haven't picked that up yet..
But anyways, I plugged this into my Samsung Blu-Ray Surround Sound System (another great buy from Best Buy!!), but anyways I connect one device to the sound system and another one to my speakers I put outside. After syncing the devices I get sound outside from my TV rooms away! The distance is remarkable and I'm very happy.
I get that what I'm using these for are not what it's made for, but my two cents is if you want your sound in multiple rooms, this is a very cost effective way to make that happen!

My house shakes with 5.1 sound again. WatchING mission impossible rogue nation. Saweet!! To hear the special effects reverbate through my system is awesome, and now I have my two rear speakers on board. My room is 15 feet long, and the rear speakers are hidden in a hutch 8 feet tall. Direct line of sight from my pioneer 3d capable receiver makes setup a snap. The unit is pre programed from the factory, no setup is needed. I did experience some feed back but you can turn the volume up or down on the receiving unit...set it and forget it! The sound you get depends on your receiver, but that is not an issue. The units simply relay sound from the signal coming from the rear speaker setup at your receiver and relayed back to the receiving unit. Both units have a blue light that flashes blue we. You first turn them on then go to a steady blue light. This means they are connected. If not, there is a connect button on the receiving unit. Simply connect your speakers .. instructions included. ..turn on the sending unit, connect your speakers to the receiving unit and push the connect button. Couple seconds should do it. Enjoy.
