Does the job of providing a speaker system without lots of wires and we use it for remote main speakers not rear, but we are now on our third set--so buy the replacement insurance.first set the terminal mount failed as we assembled speaker wires. Second failed by static shock as Itried to adjust the volume after simply walking across the floor in socked feet. Graciously Best Buy replaced both--thank you! So if it's what you need for your stereo system, then sure,buy it, but buy the insurance as well.
