The product performs excellent. No loss of sound on DTS-HD or Dolby True-HD. The receiver (the part that attaches to the speakers) is a bit large. Auto calibrating AV receiver is a must-have. There is a noticeable delay in sound. My Yamaha receiver calculated the distance of the speakers to the listening area at 40 feet. Actual distance is 10ft.
What's great about it: Less wire to hide
What's not so great: Price

Great product. Easy to set up. Runs my favorite bookshelf Polk speakers I bought with my home theatre system without having to run wires. Also, stays in "seek" mode when I turn off the stereo, so when I turn it back on, they come on too. I am not sure how much power it consumes in this mode, but it allows the receiver to be located in a hard to reach place and still work great.
Love it so much I bought several more for a whole house audio system in our new house, since running wires in the existing structure was not an option for most rooms.
What's great about it: Simplicty, Simplicity, Simplicity
What's not so great: Could be more powerful. But good for 90% of occasions unless you are a DJ
I would recommend this to a friend!

Convenient option with decent sound

This kit is an excellent value and great for those rooms where surround wires are impractical. They power my Klipsch Quintet speakers nicely, although I think the sound quality may not be quite as pure as with conventional wires. I can hear a trace of white noise from speakers when powered on. Also, I'm having trouble calibrating my speaker system; I get an error message when doing the auto calibration, and I think this is due to a delay with the wireless receiver. I'm sure there's a way to correct for this, just haven't had time to figure it out. However, movies & music sound great, and I like the volume control to increase or decrease surround volume. I wish it had binding posts or some better connection for wires--this seems kind of cheap. Oh well, for the price you can't go wrong. You could easily spend this much on speaker wire for a large room, not to mention the extra work installing it!
What's great about it: Easy setup, good value
What's not so great: cheap spring-clip connections, sound could be better
I would recommend this to a friend!

THis worked great for my living room surround sound. Makes it so you dont have ugly, bulky cables running across your floor or against the wall. Very easy to hook up and use.
What's great about it: makes existing speakers wireless

Nifty was able to employee older hard wired system for rear speakers accross a large room as if wireless. A little tinkering and reading documentation works great..
What's great about it: Installed out of the box works fine
What's not so great: Nothing

I was impressed with this kit from the moment I fired it up and it worked perfectly! Other than setting the volumes form the stereo rear out and the Rocketfish receiver, there is nothing else to do but listen and enjoy!
What's great about it: It worked perfectly right out of the box! Anyone could set this up!
What's not so great: The receiver is a little big.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am fortunate I have a brother-in-law that is a computer genius so I have his help in setting up electronics. The RF-WHTIB was a snap, plugged it in and it worked perfectly with my system no snaping our other noises "so simple a cave man can do it, I DID". Sharp LC46D43U, Onkyo HT-S6200, Sony BDP-S560 with Directtv. Best Buy was prompt in delivery will buy more products from them.
What's great about it: Works as advertised

We have just had it for 2 weeks and it seems to work great. It definitely got rid of the wires running al along the basement which used to come off the carpet and get caught in the vaccuum.
No complaints about the sound. The surround sound is great which we tested with my LOTR DVDs.
Will update the review if anything changes.
What's great about it: Easy to setup, good value for money
