Great product. My first one lasted over 12 years. And though not recommended, 8 years of that was outside just covered from the elements. Total warrantee void of course, at the end the contacts were oxidized so it was very noisy. I do also have an indoor unit that is for my rear surround sound speakers. So I believe in this product. Recommend highly.

This wireless rear speaker is exactly what i needed. Tired if unsightly wires all around the floor and ceiling? Using wireless rear speaker receiver enables me to have ht 5:1 sound I want with out unsightly wires all around.

This is a good option if you do not want to run (and hide) wires going to your rear speakers. HOWEVER, like other reviewers have stated, there is definitely an audible buzz whenever the volume is turned to max on the powered receiver. While the simple solution would be to not turn it to max, it is virtually impossible due to its inherently low power output. IF running wires is not an option then this is a good alternative.
