I don't have wiring for my speakers, nor need to rip my ceiling or floor. I saw this set in good price so I bought it. It's working fine, no connections problems. Great experience watching movies. It's not that good if you listen music loud, simply because it's lacking power. Overall good experience with this product.

So far so good

It has been working to connect our speakers upstairs for a few years now, and it still works pretty good.
We have had a few issues with it where something would happen and it would produce static or weird noises but all it took to fix that was to unplug it and plug it back in and it started working again. Not sure what caused that.
