I had a need to neatly add rear channel speakers to my surround sound system. This product is awesome and it does exactly what it's advertised to do and the performance is excellent. I am very pleased with this product, I would recommend it to anyone.
What's great about it: The quality
What's not so great: nothing
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have been looking for a product to do what this does for several years. I had previously bought a solution that was not digital and obviously it did not perform well. Most of the other wireless options functioned as remote speakers using RCA plugs rather than true surrounds. I found this product last week and immediately ran out and bought it. Setup was very easy. I didn't read the manual; just plugged everything in and turned it on and it worked. No switches to set, no syncing, no channel selection, etc. It just worked! The only adjustment I made was setting the volume properly. The price seems a little steep considering the simplicity of the solution but for something that works so flawlessly I think it's well worth $110.
What's great about it: Easy to setup, sounds great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I got this product as a gift (that I asked for) and I have been using them for a couple of months. Set up was pretty simple. I did have to manually link the transmitter and receiver, but that was simple as well. The product works pretty well. I adjusted my home theater system to account for the lag, but you would never know that the speakers were wireless if I didn't tell you. The only problem I have is that the speakers will sometimes make a crackling sound. It only happens when my electric oven turns on and off. It doesn't really bother me and I am happy with this product
What's great about it: Easy to set up, Wirless
What's not so great: Can get a little sensitive to electrical interference
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very neat little gadget that saved me from running wires for surround sound speakers. In my setup, running wires was not an option so this was a terrific solution. It sounds very clear, but a little weak due to the limited output of the receiver amplifier. I'm not sure it would output a strong enough sound if one wanted to bring sound to the back yard porch for example. Unfortunately this operates on a 2.4 ghz band, so may cause interference with other things like routers, network cameras, neighbor's stuff, etc. In my case, I didn't notice any interference however.
What's great about it: Nearly fool proof setup
What's not so great: Adds to an already crowded 2.4ghz spectrum
I would recommend this to a friend!

Purchased this product at advice of the Best Buy salesman. Worked great with my Yamaha sound system for 5 months. Then one day the rear unit just stopped working for some unknown reason. Almost like it blew out or something. Taking the unit back to Best Buy to see if the'll exchange. If you buy, save your receipt. Hoping this was just a weird fluke.
What's great about it: Decent Sound
What's not so great: Stopped working after 5 months

I had read many of these reviews before purchasing. I was nervous about the snapping, crackling, popping, hissing, possible wireless interference, and a glaring red cylon eye staring at me that the others had mentioned. I have a couple tiny Cambridge Soundworks rears that I really didn't want to run 100' of expensive flat wire that I would have to later paint, and then notice out of the corner of my eye. My couch sits about 14' back from a rear projection 65" with the rears on each side. I placed the speaker unit behind the couch on the floor and ran the speaker wires to it. I plugged the smaller transmitter unit into my receiver switched outlet and hooked up the tiny little stock wires to the sender. Powered the thing up and ran a test tone cycle. Everything worked. I had to track down a lazy connection (my fault) on the rear right, but after that was hammered out, everything worked fine.
I sampled several movies like the new star trek and even some podcasts through the Apple TV, sound was nice and clear with not delay I could perceive. So far so good. Any issues, I have the receipt and 30 days. Don't necessarily be afraid of these negative reviews, give it a chance and return it if it doesn't work for you. I do wish I could turn it off remotely, so it just stays powered on constantly.
What's great about it: Simple, sounds great, no wires!
What's not so great: No auto shutdown, or remote way to do it. Short power cable. Kinda shamefully tiny default wires it comes with.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this product about a month ago. I already had made my review but it didn’t get posted. I emailed Best Buy to see why my post never went up and they never got back to me. So I’m going to try to recreate my previous post.
I hooked it up the day it was purchased. I used the directions and the hookup went smoothly. I turned everything on for the first time and it all worked. After getting it to work I decided to test it out.
During testing I noticed several problems: There was a delay in the sound to the wireless speakers, there was a faint noise coming from the speakers at all times, and worst of all it interfered with my wireless internet. The delay was minor and maybe not noticeable to some people but I detected it and knew it was there and that’s enough to bug me every time I watch a movie. Rocketfish knew this when they made the product, stating in the manual that there could be a delay in milliseconds. They also said that most receivers have something to correct this. Mine was able to compensate for some of the delay but not all of it. I wish this were something Rocketfish could of fixed on their end. As for the noise that comes from the rear speakers at all times. That isn’t too bad, when the system is turned off the sound goes away and the sound they make while on isn’t very noticeable. My biggest concern was that it would interfere with my wireless internet. At first I didn’t notice it was, but after using it for about 10-15 min my internet started to lock up. And fixing it was as simple as turning off the power to the sender or the receiver. Instantly my internet was restored. I’m not saying these results will occur in every situation just in the setup I have. I live in an apartment and my router is not far from where my sender is. Another small thing that bugged me was the red lights on both the sender and the receiving end of the wireless system. The wireless receiver was the bigger problem because the sender was hidden behind my stereo receiver. The wireless receiver would stay lit while in use, and when the sender is turned off it sets the receiver into an every things ok blinking mode aka stand by mode. Most users end up covering the lights with electrical tape.
I think these reviews are helpful in the purchasing process and both the good and the bad should be listed. I can’t remember the details I put into the first post but this is here to give you an idea of what to check for if your thinking about buying this product. Again your setup might be different and you may not have any trouble with your wireless internet not working.
What's great about it: Takes away wires.
What's not so great: Doesn't work with my wireless internet

Speakers pop occasionally

I got this, because I didn't want to rip up my carpet and install wires, but looks like that's what I have to do this weekend. The unit sounds great, but the speakers pop frequently. I returned my first unit, but the second unit has the same issue. I don't know if it's interference or what. I leave the sender and receiver unit powered on and it pops even with the A/V receiver turned off, so I know it's not the source material or the A/V receiver. It's something in the sender or receiver unit that causes the pop.
What's great about it: Easy to setup, good sound quality aside from the loud pop
What's not so great: The speakers pop every 30 minutes or so, very annoying
