This is the perfect solution to an age-old question...how do I get the rear speakers in without my wife seeing a bunch of wires or patched holes in our walls to hide the run wire! Works really well, in my small 400sqft living room. But a microwave, wifi router, and bluetooth adapters all work very near the transmitter and receiver - not one single issue.
If you don't want to/can't run a couple hundred feet of wire (like me), give this a shot at $100.
I would be careful if you have cordless telephones in the area, since those tend to run on a similar frequency.

After during my research on which wireless device is best for surround sound home systems; I came across an article for Rock Fish.
I read the revews of the Rockfish wireless and decided to go to my local Best Buy to investgate.

This was a great addition to my home entertainment center. i currently own a Bose and didn't want to run cables to for the rear speakers. This was great and hid the receiver end behind the couch.
The only problem i noticed is that there's a small delay before the audio kicks in. in order for you to notice you have to pay very close attention.
If you have a small budget and want a wireless transmitter then this is for you.
