Other than the red light on the reciever (which can easily be hidden with electrical tape) the set up is super easy, and there are numerous options of mounding or placing on a shelf. Well beneath the cost and hasle of running wire throughout the house.
What's great about it: Easy to set up, sounds great, mounting options
What's not so great: red light on both units
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very dissapointed

I purchased this hoping to eliminate the need to rewire the speakers each time my wife moved the furniture:). Setup up was easy and the system connected with a push of the button. Went to do a speaker check and no sound. Double checked my wiring since my electronic skills are marginal at best. Nope, still no sound and my Yamaha HTR-5760 (receiver is about 7 y/o) said to check wiring.
I wired the same speakers directly to the receiver and viola! sound. Maybe my system doesn't work with this or it was faulty. This product has been given good reviews and I may have just gotten a lemon. Anyway, it is boxed back up and ready to be returned.
What's great about it: Great idea and design
What's not so great: did not work...for me at least
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a excellent product for rooms that cannot be cabled or just when you want to make the installation of your home theater easier. The setup is very easy and the performance of the product is superb. If I ever purchase another home theater system for another part of my house I will purchase this product to make the installation easier. This is worth every penny of the $99.99 I paid.
What's great about it: Easy Setup, No Interference with other Wireless Devices, Great Performance
What's not so great: Notice a hum through the speaker when Surround Sound receiver is off but speakers transmit and receivers are on
I would recommend this to a friend!

Exactly as advertised. Completely eliminates running wires to the back of your room. Still have to run wires from receiver unit to surround speakers...but who cares!! Sound is great...set up is simple!!! GREAT BUY!!!
What's great about it: Bye-bye wires!!!
What's not so great: none

Wires....out of sight!

The smaller sender hooks up to your surround speaker outs (and the included power source). Your surround speakers are then connected to the larger reciever unit (built in power cord, adjustable length) in the back of your room.
It eliminates the need to find a way of hiding speaker cables and I have no problems with interference of other devices (wireless home network, 2.4GHz phone).
Sound is good.
What's great about it: No running wires through room, easy set-up, small footprint
What's not so great: don't see any
I would recommend this to a friend!

great wireless speaker system

i bought this item on-line from best buy. it was so simple to hook-up and get a connection. i have been using it with my onkyo 605 receiver and orb audio mod-1 rear speakers in my surround sound system and it works great, with no appreciable loss of signal in a room that's approx. 20 ft by 20 ft.
What's great about it: ease of set-up
What's not so great: none
I would recommend this to a friend!

So I've had a HT for several years without getting the full effect as rear speakers weren't in behind viewers. Not now, bought this product and hover speaker stands and now I am in the middle of the action. I've got another room to do and this is the solution. No problem with my wireless network. Volume control on the sending unit allows you to easily tweak for proper sound level/effect. And I leave it on all the time, like my wireless network. Install it and forget about it. $100 and 30 - 60 minutes you'll be ready to sit down with your popcorn and enjoy a movie.
What's great about it: NO Wires across room, easy set up, works as advertised
What's not so great: Makes you clean around your equipment rack - dust bunnies
I would recommend this to a friend!

Less wires!

Excellent product - bought this on-line for in-store pickup which was a breeze. It literally took me 5 minutes total to park and pick up this product and get back to my car - Secaucus, NJ store.
Speakers were easy to set up but you will still need some wiring for your surround sound but I knew this going in. We have a difficult room with a lot of windows, doors and a fireplace so wireless was the way to go. No noticeable loss in sound quality wtih our Denon receiver.
What's great about it: Less wires, great sound, easy to install
What's not so great: none
I would recommend this to a friend!
