Works Great, Improved Model

This is the perfect solution for a room where concealing wires would have been a major problem. Setup was easy. The problem with the power switch mentioned in earlier reviews has been fixed. The sending unit now turns on and off when plugged into the switched power on my receiver. The wireless signal does not interfere with my WIFI or my cordless telephone.
What's great about it: Easy setup, good value, improved model
What's not so great: none
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hi
I set it up in about 5 mins and was amazed at the quality of the sound, I have a Kenwood 5.1 Home Theater System, I read there were some glitches with popping and Rocketfish staying on when the reciever was off. All I did was plug it in to the back of my audio reciever so when it's turned off, Rocketfish turned off as well, problem solved!
I did my research on this product, read many reviews and made sure this product was for me and would meet my needs. I found Rocketfish Rear Wireless Kit far exceeded my expectations! I feel I need to mention that there is no radio interference form my cordless phone, microwave or anyother wireless products in my home.
If you are looking for a rear wireless kit, this is it (for me anyway) I recommend highly, I have nothing negitive to to say about this product ... in short this is the best thing to happen to home electronics since the color TV :)
Try it, you'll love it!

Ok. I am no tech wiz, but am better than the average bear. I'd like to preface this by saying my hubby does not like to read instructions, and has proven this time and time again.
I am sitting here, listening to my new speakers that are hooked with the Rocketfish, typing on my laptop connected to my wireless internet via Linksys router, in my basement. Thus NO PROBLEMS with connectivity. I can also talk on my cordless landline and my mobile phone.
When you connect this make sure you put the sender and receiver in the correct positions- hence the non-instruction reading comment above. Other than that, it's great, no wires, no problems!
What's great about it: easy to set up, DOES NOT interfere with wireless internet
What's not so great: nothing- as long as you read instructions :)
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have had this product for over a year now and have had no problems whatsoever. I have never heard any popping sounds while using it. I have never had any issues with connectivity or the rear speakers not putting out as much sound as the front speakers at any sound level.
I saw someone was complaining about this product interfering with a wireless network. I had wireless running in my house prior to purchasing the rocketfish and noticed no difference whatsoever since I've been using the rocketfish. .
What's great about it: very easy to set up and a fair price
What's not so great: I have no complaints
I would recommend this to a friend!

No Interference problems

My biggest worry about going with a wireless rear speaker kit was interference from cell phones, cordless phones, wireless network and even the microwave. Thankfully this product withstood all of them. Sound was also good, no distortion detected and no humming noises that I've experienced with other similar products..
What's great about it: Easy set up, no interference (biggest worry)
I would recommend this to a friend!

After reading many reviews, I decided to purchase this item and it works great! No pops yet and WiFi (G) works with no interference as some have complained about.
It saved me much time and trouble by completing my surround sound system after we removed carpeting and put in wood flooring! No climbing in the attic and no dropping cables down the walls!
What's great about it: Easy setup, great sound and no crawling along my attic!
What's not so great: A little pricey!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Realitively inexpensive compared to running wires.

Setup was simple, and went off without a hitch. The sound quality is to my ear the same as it was when these speakers were wired, the difference being that now the speakers are actually behind us instead of in front of us since we didn't have to run cables to them behind the sofa.
Our house is a bit odd in that where we have the sofa (the only place to put the sofa) there is not a power outlet, so we have to run an extension cord from the nearest bedroom, along the base boards and behind the sofa to power the unit. I can only think that it would have been grand if the unit would have run on 4 or 6 DD batteries, I know for the most part that battery life would probably be super short or maybe not even possible, but it would have been much nicer for us. I can only imagine that running the speaker cables into the attic and down the walls would probably be easier for people that have no power outlet nearby to where this unit will be setting, and they don't wish to see an extension cord running along the baseboards of their home.
Anyway, it seems to be a solid unit so far and IM pleased with it. It really couldn't have been any eaiser to finally get the rear speakers where they belong (behind us on the sofa).
What's great about it: Don't have to run wires into the attic and down the walls
What's not so great: Would be great if it had the possibility to run on 4 DD batteries
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this item because I wanted to set up another set of speakers in another room of the house. Though they are touted for 'wireless connection of rear speakers for surroundsound", they work GREAT as transmitters for my B Speakers. They have more than adequate power to drive my Pioneer loudspeakers in my pool room. I may get another set and drive speakers in the den.
And, I HAVE recommended this product to my friends.
What's great about it: Range and clarity
What's not so great: $20 cheaper would be perfect.
I would recommend this to a friend!
