GS installed my surround sound but told me that it would be better for us to get this so we wouldn't have to run wire across or around floor. We have pets and it would have been in a spot where folks would trip over them and not look so nice.

I was reluctant to get the Rocketfish, based on negative reviews on other sites, which indicated a problem with range of the components. I was pleasantly surprised when the rear speakers worked, and very well, with a separation of roughly 25 feet between the Rocketfish components. I used the existing rear speakers and have not been dissapointed in the 5.2 surround sound quality.
