I was honestly not going to pick up this game because of the over the top language and adult themes. but i got a good deal on it.
the story line and writing is amazing. there is a lot of substance and not your typical game. graphics are great and the gameplay is really good as well.
Definately not for kids. Not only should kids not play it, they shouldnt be within ear shot or able to see the tv when an adult is playing.
If you are an adult and can get over the language and themes, its recommended. If you are a kid or that kind of stuff bothers you, avoid.
What's great about it: Great story, graphics, gameplay
What's not so great: extremely bad language and themes (over the top style)
I would recommend this to a friend!

Adds Little to the Franchise

Gameplay 6/10 - in essence a glorified GTA III with almost all the same features, some new minigames and side quests, but realism kills a lot of the fun
City 9/10 - incredibly well thought out and realistic city, massive, detailed, has everything that a metropolitan city should have
Vehicles 4/10 - very unimaginative, horrendous driving capability, many cars will roll on turns and will skid on dry pavement, only two special vehicles (helicopter and speedboat)
Controls 5/10 - sloppy, unintuitive, running and walking are nearly useless, weapon cycling is difficult in a firefight
Graphics 6/10 - great visuals on the city, very realistic / cars and other moving object look ok / people and clothes look slightly better than old xbox games rough facial features
Story 8/10 - very good story, considerably different from previous games, a lot of thought put in here.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This game was a lot of fun. However it was not the best GTA game so far like I had hoped it would be. I missed the tons of cash and buying crazy stuff like houses, casinos, buisnesses, ect. But over all it was a lot of fun to play.
What's great about it: New missions
What's not so great: Not the best GTA game
I would recommend this to a friend!

This GTA4, more realist, more funny.... it´s amazing game.
What's great about it: graphics amazing very, very funny
What's not so great: No cons, it´s better games in PS3

I love this game. I hadn't played GTA since I had the PS1. This is such a stark contrast to the one that I remember playing years ago. The graphics are great and the characters are so ridiculous that I just fell in love with them. My favorite gameplay moments are when Niko is blown up (his body launches into the air in the funniest way) and being able to shoot missiles and stuff at innocent pedestrians. The music playing on all of the different radio stations is great. What else can I say, I love this crazy game!!
What's great about it: Great graphics, sick storyline, twisted characters
What's not so great: None
I would recommend this to a friend!

I loved this game. I thought it was the only game i would actually buy for my Playstation. I used to always rent. But i knew I had to have this game.
What's great about it: Great Graphics, plotline, characters, areas, cop chases
What's not so great: Sometimes gets slow during High Action scenes
I would recommend this to a friend!
