Overall, GTA 4 is the best game in the series. It tops the other games in the open-world genre by creating a beautiful, large, open-world, city that's living breathing and by creating an interesting storyline with expressive characters.
What's great about it: Open-World gameplay, size and scale of the city, charcter models, new cover system, Euphoria physics engine, storyline
What's not so great: few graphical glitches
I would recommend this to a friend!

From GTA3 this has certainly improved in every single aspect of the game. Once you start you cant stop, you will really enjoy the missions and story since the main character has a more interesting story in this chapter of GTA4. The game also allows you to be more involved in your social life to make it more real and at the same time this also will help you achieve more in your adventure since you might meet some well conected people along the way. All this and I haven't even played the multiplayer. This game has previously had a decent replay value just for running around the city creating chaos but now you also have the social life, kind of like the Sims, as well as different types of multiplayer games. It has a value of more than $60 if you compare what you usually get for $60 with other games. if you are already thinking about it, just go and get it, trust me you will love the game and continue to enjoy it for a long time. Hope it helps.
What's great about it: Gameplay, story, graphics, fun

Great game on all levels! However, it should be played by only those of age to play this epic game
What's great about it: graphics, tons of things to do, guns, feel realistic, actions and motions look more realistic
What's not so great: nothing really,a few little glitches, but nothing hoffifically bad
I would recommend this to a friend!

Most realistic open world experience.

This game is amazing, it's indispensable for any player that likes open world games. However, it is not perfect. If you prefer fun instead realism, buy Saints Row 2.
What's great about it: Storyline, graphics, very realistic gameplay, the city looks alive.
What's not so great: It has less activities and possibilities than Saints Row 2.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Game is great and right in the line with the rest of the GTA series. Only thing with GTA is that you can only do so many missions where you run up and kill someone. Other than that great game.
What's great about it: Basically everything
What's not so great: Missions start to get boring.

Don't get me wrong about my headline. Its a fun game. But I just can't get past the car camera angle always want to auto center it self so all you can see is the back bumper. It made me not want to drive any of the cars. And last time I check this game is about stealing cars. And what is up with the fighting buttoms. The one was that I think is suppose to a jump kick really looks like he is jumping over herdles. So as i'm trying to take this guys out, it looks as if I'm runninig track.
What's great about it: good game to spend hours and hours on.
What's not so great: Terrible car camera angles.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

its a fun game grand theft auto game but i think some of the past games were better. it just seemed to me the the put a lot of time into the map and not the game. very fun but it just collects dust after you beat it.
What's great about it: Entertaining
What's not so great: Not enough features like in the past ones

It was an ok game. It was really hard to get into. I love the cheats that can be entered through Niko's cell phone. The plot is ok. I think that for me, I would have prefered more of a sand box game like San Andreas. With more tasks to be preformed. The graphics in this edition is far superior!
What's great about it: Much better graphics
What's not so great: I would have prefered it to be more like San Andreas
