This series has easily been the best purchase I've made since picking up my PS3/Bluray player. Although movies look great, Discovery was MADE for high def, the picture is extremely sharp and clear. I'm still in awe every time I watch an episode.
What's great about it: Amazing picture in Bluray, High Def was made for Nature
What's not so great: No Sigourney Weaver voiceover
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Series and Amazing Picture

Planet Earth is a really awesome series. It is one of the first tv series to come on to Blu-ray and it looks amazing. The way they capture everything on Earth is amazzingg and is a feast to your eyes.
What's great about it: Nice Picture and Sound
What's not so great: None

This was an amazing buy for me. With it on Blu-Ray it is a much better quality. The picture and sound is amazing, and makes it much more enjoyable to watch. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone. It is very interesting to see the different parts of the world. You won't be disappointed! I wasn't!
What's great about it: Excellent pictre and sound.
What's not so great: -None-
I would recommend this to a friend!

If you get a new 1080p hd tv and a Blue-Ray player then you should buy this 4 disc set. The picture quality is amazing. Beautiful views of landscapes rarely seen. Best DVD's to demo your new or existing home theater set up.

This is by far the most awe inspiring series I've ever seen. Its footage will blow you away. You can't be disappointed with this purchase.

Don't even bother with it on DVD. This is only worth it on Blu-Ray. The quality of the picture will make your jaw drop. My mom who could care less about Hi-Def said that this is the reason to have a Hi-Def TV. If you have a 1080p TV and don't have a Blu-Ray player with planet earth then I tell you to get one and dont waste your money on the DVD version. You wno't be disappointed with it on Blu-Ray.
What's great about it: Stunningly beautiful scenery
What's not so great: Nothing really

I never get tired of watching my Planet Earth. It is absolutely breath taking and entertaining like no other nature program I have ever seen!
What's great about it: Unbelievable footage, beautiful scenery and amazing animals all in HD!
What's not so great: NONE!
