Was just what I needed!

I bought this scanner with the specific purpose of digitizing my old 35 mm slides. The scanner's template, which holds up to 4 slides at a time, can be a little frustrating to work with. However, given the price of the scanner it's a minor issue. I can't believe how great the scanned images look, even in the lower resolution scans.
I would recommend this to a friend!

this is a very nice scanner. I have no complaints. It results in great images. the slides adapter has 4 places for slides...I wish it had more, like 12...there's space for that, and I wish it was faster. There are delays longer between actions than are ideal....and I wish the scan icon stayed open instead of closing after it scans a set of slides/images....I have to open the scanner icon each time a insert another set of pictures. However, I would buy it again!

REVIVING OLD MEMORIES

Bought it in December - have copied family pictures from 1914 to date. Copied old slides from 50+ year ago to more recent times. Does a great job - not a 100% restoration of badly faded stuff, but still very good. Great value for the money. Only good for 35mm. slides and film. Recommended.

Affordable Product - Amazing photos from Very Old slides!

We purchased this Scanner to digitize historical family photos from slides as old as 1950. The results were amazing! The only complaint I have is that the settings are a bit clunky when moving from scanning negatives to photos to slides. I have needed to restore the settings back to default to get things working properly again. Other than that, totally happy with our purchase.

Love this scanner. The only thing I would change would be more sizes of frames to hold negatives. A lot of the negatives will not fit the ones that came with the scanner. I love being able to scan what I have though. And, does a good job scanning. The settings Could be a little more senior citizen friendly.

No a great product

I was very disappointed with this scanner. I purchased it brand new and I downloaded the software and my laptop is only a year old. It does not even hardly get used. But anyways when I started to scan photos it took me 3 hours to scan like 4 photos. It would just stop working so I would turn that off turn laptop
Off and restart it and try again and the same steps would take place. So I ended up returning it and now looking for another one to purchase.

defective out oft he box

I bought this as a Christmas present. Directly out of the box it scans a colored line on the left side of all photographs; unable to remove.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
