Not Too Thrilled
on February 10, 2018

I opened up the box and was pleased with the packaging.
I went to connect and hookup my scanner, I had to move my whole office around because the connections for the cables to plug in are on the front right side of the scanner. It is not a space saver either because the door opens to the right, which I first thought was cool, but now I need a bigger desk to scan from.

This is my second scanner. The first was very hard to use. I opened the box the Epson came in and after the first hour I had scanned about thirty slides. Great results.

Features I was looking for at a reasonable price

Features I was looking for at a reasonable price, It is very easy to use and windows 10 friendly. It scanned some old b/w negatives that I couldn't see anything on and made a decent image. I was impressed. I like the fact it scans more than one at at a time

Great for scanning all my family photos!

Bought this to scan boxes of family photos. It goes pretty quick when I can scan 4-6 photos at a time. Tagging the photos, on the other hand is what is so time consuming.

Excellent Scanner

This is a replacement for my long lasting Epson V350. Although my Epson printer has a scanner, I prefer using this style. When I was working, I had them purchase this style scanner for the Art Department and other department. It is easy to work with and gives excellent reproductions. It also can produce PDFs.

Easy to use

Have had this scanner about six months and really like it. Original purpose was to scan old photos which it does a great job at. Have since also used it for documents. Really like that it will scan multiple page documents in as one file. Scanner has lots of settings to customize quality, file type (extension) and where to save. Easy to use and great price for so many features.

A genuine help in preserving memories
on November 21, 2018

After using this scanner for over a month, the hardware and software have proven to be invaluable in the process of preserving photos, slides, and documents. With previous devices, I would invariably have to do one item at a time and then touch up images separately. The V370 with its software does everything - I can place multiple photos on the glass randomly (not even squared up) and it finds each one and creates a separate file for it. Additionally, the image correction automatically fixes each one as a separate entity. And the same is true of slides, 4 at a time. I am totally satisfied with the product - even more unbelievable at its low price.

Keeps crashing
on November 28, 2018
Posted by: Ashlyn
I bought this about a year ago and have just started using it. I have tens of thousands of photos to scan and this scanner is very slow compared to other scanners I've used but it gets the job done. I don't know much about computers but it seems the software is not very compatible with later versions of computer software so it keeps crashing before all of my photos are saved to the computer and then I'll have to rescan lots of pictures. Wouldn't recommend this scanner for someone with lots of photos to scan.

Response from epson.comBy EddieScanners November 29, 2018
Hi Ashlyn, thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with the scanning speed for your Epson V370. Scanning speed can be affected by the size of the original, the resolution, and multi-scan features. Try adjusting scan settings and consult the online User’s Guide, found here: https://files.support.epson.com/pdf/prv37_/prv37_ug.pdf If, after completing these steps, the issue continues, please contact Epson Support at (562) 276-4382; Hours: Monday – Friday, 6am – 8pm PT; Saturday, 7am – 4pm PT. Sincerely, Eddie – The Epson Team.
