Slide scanner

I have over 2500 slides to digitize and so far (after about 350 scans) this Epson is doing a great job. The Auto correct for color etc works very well. I do wish it could do more than 4 slides at a time...but...it's doing a great job!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Look for another scanner

Purchased this scanner last year. Although color seems good it has a scanning problem. It scans oversized images crooked. I tried everything and scanned art sits square on glass, but it still scans crooked and crops part of image. I called EPSON, but problem persists. Consider another scanner, not his one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Old Negs

The scanner works great with the standard 35mm and 126 instamatic negs. I only wish they would make a scanner that could make images from very old negatives like 620 and such.

Software NOT Included ArcSoft® Scan-n-Stitch™ Deluxe

I have purchased the Epson 370 Scanner last week, everywhere including this page indicates that there is ArcSoft® Scan-n-Stitch™ Deluxe software coming in package for oversize scanning, but this is NOT true, the software is not included and 3rd party also doest help and basically you get stuck, very disappointed doesn't sound valid information from EPSON.

Haven't put it through all it's paces

For scanning the V370 has worked well. The lid is hinged so it accommodates books which was a nice surprise.
I have not used any of the added software features so I can't adress the added features yet.

Just what I wanted

I've had this for a few weeks now; I wanted a good scanner for PDF, photos, docs. I paid extra to get the attachment to scan film negatives and slides as I have a project going and my old scanner gave out. I was so glad to find this gem!! I want sure that was a thing anymore. The price was excellent for this quick working scanner. Smooth scanning, for my current scanning table better than my old one did.

Not Wifi and clunky to use

I'm pretty disappointed with this scanner. It is not wifi, so must be plugged into computer to use. The process of scanning is difficult. I thought it would be push a button and get a scan of your document. By the way, the scan to email does not work with Google Chrome, which is a problem because that is what we use. It's disappointing because that was the main feature I wanted to use. But just to scan to a pdf requires pushing a button on the scanner, then waiting on a pop up screen on the computer for about 15 seconds, then clicking the "Begin scan" button. Then wait again, then get the exact same pop up window, but this time you have to know click on the "Finish Scan" button. Then it finally scans the document. Oh, you also have to select the destination for the scan on your computer. The first time I scanned, I could not locate the document anywhere on my computer. Also the directions and online directions are not very helpful at all.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
