Great photo scanner!

I bought this scanner to finish scanning family photos. I love, love, love the job this scanner did on my project. The fact that it is portable and separate from my printer was a plus for me as I could work on my project in an area where I wasn't isolated from everyone else in the family. I hooked it up to my laptop and started scanning.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love this scanner, the only thing that I don't like is that it does not allow you to properly do partial scans of any of my images larger than 8.5x11, which is a negative. If the scanning glass where at the same level of its surrounding edges than I would easily be able to do this. I still have to go to a professional scanning place to scan my artwork larger than 8.5x11. Other than that, the quality of the scans are superior to any camera I have used. Overall I'm satisfied, but it is a bit limiting. It would be nice if Epson could come up with a more artist-friendly scanner, taking into consideration our needs as professional artists.

I am impressed with the ease of use and the quality of the scans. I have scanned color, black & white photos, slides and negatives - and the quality is very good. The low price made this a no-brainer purchase for me.

I have three Epson scanners and I love them all! The V379 has additional features to make my scans more in line with my usage.

The Epson Perfection V370 Photo Scanner is full of great features. It easily scans four (4) 35mm Slides in one simple operation. In addition, it scans negative strips. The scanner also has a single push button scan feature for printing, e-mailing and PDF scans as well as it supports in-depth customized photo scanning. This is a great vendor and a superb product. I highly recommend both. Well Done!!

Quality Scanner: Does a Nice Job

The V370 produces crisp, clear scans. Went to Epson Support and downloaded updates to software for the scanner. Very versatile. The only problem is a failure to set up the button to send a scan to email. Even though the information requested was entered, the machine failed to find the proper email client. (This problem is easily solved by right-clicking on a saved scan and selecting email.)
