this full-screen dvd version alters the original theatrical aspect ratio of the movie from 1.85:1 to 1.33:1, giving a different picture than was seen in the theater.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a good BLU-RAY release. This is a good movie for the whole family to watch. Lots of laughs, and good story.
What's great about it: very funny
What's not so great: nothing

Amazing picture quality and sound quality. The supplements on the BD are great. The cast is amazing (especially Robin Williams as Teddy Roosevelt!). You will laugh from the very beginning to the end in this great movie. Night At the Museum is a great comedy for people of all ages and is worth the very low price!
What's great about it: Picture, acting, comedy
What's not so great: none whatsoever!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good for families, clean and fairly funny. Good to gather around and get a few laughs, not as outrageous and over the top as other Ben Stiller comedies, but still good. At this price it's fair, i might wait, but it's a good buy. Go for it.
What's great about it: Good wholesome family comedy
What's not so great: Not as outrageous or funny as their other work
I would recommend this to a friend!

I enjoy this film.
Glad to have it widescreen.
Stiller doing the SAME ROLE UNDER A DIFFERENT NAME like in Mary & both the Meet The Films. Put upon, getting even his way role. DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT STILLER!! BORING!!
I did NOT like the film for him.
Robin was very good in his role as teddy Roosevelt. Needed MUCH MORE OF HIM.
Glad to see Dick Van Dick & Mickey Rooney.
I HATED Ricky Gervais CHARACTER. And, this is the only thing I have ever seen him in.
Now, I expected MUCH MORE from this special edition package.
No real Making of special. Stiller & Dick were spoken to in 1 piece. WHERE THE HECK WAS ROBIN OR MICKEY ROONEY?
Good but should have been great package. If you are a stiller fan you will like it. A fan of Robin’s like myself you will be disappointed in the extras.
Good job, do better next time film makers with the DVD package.
What's great about it: Robin & Dick
What's not so great: Stiller doing his same bit
