Primary reason for building/modifying PC:Gaming
Purchased this about 1 year ago and is working flawlessly still. Desktop is on pretty much non-stop, no issues with the power and the unit runs quiet.
For the price and 400W you can't find anything cheaper that is realiable, and 400w should be enough for most medium video cards upgrades.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Worst Purchase Ever

Often times had to tap (sometimes quite hard) the power supply to get it to work. I will never buy this product again for it is too costly for a month's worth of use. It was the ONLY selection at the store at the time that supported the 24 pin motherboard. It wasn't worth having the power supply in hand when I could have had another in a few days time at 1/2 the cost.
What's great about it: It lastest a month (Yes this is a Pro)
What's not so great: Didn't always fully load Windows (even after 1 hour)
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worst purchase ever

After purchasing, realized I made a huge mistake. Did some research on this specific PSU, to find out that its really only rated for 200w-300w. Which is only sufficient for a really older machine. Which means no multi core, no updated graphics card, nothing.
While reading up on this PSU, I found the reason for the much lower rating is its shoddy components. Using under a 300w load fries computer components.
Subsequently returned.
Don't buy this.
What's great about it: None
What's not so great: Everything?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought this to replace a failed unit in a dell desktop, the dynex is much quieter. Works great for the money, my local BB had them in stock, what else can I say, great PS for the money! Another great BB product!

Good quality power supply

This was my first time upgrading a power supply. I had bought a graphics card that required more power. I bought this power supply and easliy changed it out with the other. Seems to give good quite operation. Just unplug the existing power supply and plugged in the new one...one plug at a time.
What's great about it: Nice wrapped cords
What's not so great: None
