I like how the lights turn on slowly.

Huge Temperature Swings

We bought this refrigerator a couple of years ago. Since that time it started making loud humming noise then completely shutdown. Extended warranty replaced the evaporator fan. Now we are seeing huge temp swings in both fridge and freezer compartments. Waiting for repair company to come out and look at it AGAIN!! Do not buy!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Don’t buy

I bought this 4 years ago. It constantly drops ice on the floor and the evaporative cooling fan has gone out twice!

Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought our fridge about 3 weeks ago and I’m glad I did! I had never heard of Frigidaire before, but decided to go for it anyway. It has worked perfectly for my family and hasn’t given us any problems at all! There are only 2 things I would change about it...first, the light on the water/ice dispenser. I wish it was automatic rather than only having an on/off feature! It would make nighttime easier without having to turn on my big kitchen light. And second, the ice maker shoots ice out like crazy! I have to hold my hand around my glass in order to not make a mess. It needs some kind of flap or something to avoid that!! Otherwise, my family is happy with our new fridge!

Didn't last long & Terrible Ice Dispenser

We purchased this refrigerator three years ago. We had some issues with the ice maker, ice gets stuck in the dispenser ALL THE TIME so it won't put out anything and the next thing you know, ice is falling all over the ground. It will also put out crushed ice when you want cubed. It has plenty of space and the fridge worked well and was quiet. The lighting is nice. Unfortunately, we got an OP code showing up and our refrigerator side started warming up. Then the digital screen showed all kinds of crazy numbers on the fridge side (-27, 52, etc). The freezer worked fine the entire time. We replaced the thermistor and had a repair man come out and replace it again. He eventually determined there was a broken wire somewhere between the control board and the thermistor so the fridge is done for. Very unfortunate for a three year old fridge.

Drawers don’t hold up

We have had 2 drawers break and others look like it won’t be long. Have never had this issue with other fridges. The drawers are expensive to replace. I will definitely think twice before getting this fridge again.
