Really great refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my refrigerator for almost seven months and it has been really great. The only thing that has been a bit of a frustration is that sometimes the ice comes out in "twins" and blocks the opening. The ice backs up quickly and I have to open the door to stop it from dispensing. Then I have to force the ice through the opening and it often makes a big mess. I'm sure this happens in part to the fact that I live alone and don't use the ice dispenser as frequently as a family would. Other than that, the fridge works great and I am very happy with it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good features but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3 months after purchasing this refrigerator my ice maker makes ice but will not come out of freezer into glass. Arm keeps freezing up on delivery system. The refrigerator is freezing my eggs. I have the settings on the recommended temperature settings. I have a repairman ordering replacement parts. Waiting for repairs to be completed.

Squeaky drawers

When we moved into this home 2 years and 3 months ago (we have owned 3 homes now which we had kept previous owners appliances to never have a problem except once with stove that was a small fix) we decided to purchase all new appliances. We wanted stainless steel and went with the Frigidaire Gallery line for stove, fridge, microwave, and dishwasher. The only 2 I would recommend are oven and microwave.
But the main thing I want to review and warn you about is the refrigerator-this thing has been nothing but problems. One month after it was out of warranty go figure we had a serviceman come from where we purchased from because it was giving an error and making extremely LOUD noises because the fan was froze up from the ice maker. The service call which isn’t cheap didn’t amount in much. Now for the last 6 months or so we have to completely empty our fridge and freezer (talk about a pain in the butt) and defrost it. When we plug it back it is loud as well. I want what I consider my “new” fridge to work correctly! I understand that nothing last forever but a fridge over a thousand dollars should work for at least 5 years without problems in my opinion and I see by other reviews I’m not the only person having problems! Just regret not reading them sooner! One thing I have learned from this is I won’t EVER purchase from Frigidaire again!

Looks good HOWEVER....

10 months ago I purchased the side-by-side Fridgidaire refrigerator and it started soon after freezing up on the fridge side. Lettuce and eggs should not freeze! It looks good but I would like an appliance that works properly too.

Wouldn't buy again

The ice maker will only dispense crushed cubes as you can no longer select cubed. The ice maker sounds like someone has a hammer inside of the unit before it drops. The baskets in the freezer don't stay in tracks. If you try to slide them the entire basket falls.

Worst fridge ever

Terrible product. I will never buy another fridgedaire product again in my life. Ice either dispenses one sad little cube or 10 or 12 all at once. The ice keeps coming after you let go of the dispenser. Then it either jams or little chips of ice fall all over the floor. Chips come out even though cubes is selected which has ruined our hardwood floor all around the fridge because it’s impossible to pick up every single little ice chip. DO NOT BUY. How this product got released to the market is beyond me. Also have fridgedaire dishwasher which doesn’t work well either.
