Worst Ever

Drawers are broken and now taped together, door trays have fallen off and are broken (down to two now), food freezes in the back, and don’t get me started on how ridiculous the ice maker is! The ice is too big for the hole, jams, then dumps all over the floor EVERY TIME you get ice. It’s awful! Zero stars, would not recommend.

Worst Ice Maker Ever Made

Ice maker jams and overflows cup, or container over 50% of time. Jams on us at least once a day. When water flows in to make more ice it sounds like a water fall. I recommend this refrigerator be discontinued until fixed.

Hello Cnacc! The freezer section should be set to 0 degrees Fahrenheit and the refrigerator section to 37 degrees Fahrenheit. Wish I had read reviews before I purchased!

I have a Gallery series from the early 2000's- it's in my garage as an additional drink storage. We never had any issues with it so I didn't even think to read reviews on this model. Mistake! The biggest problem is the ice maker. IF you can get past the loud noises it makes, so loud that it interrupts your dinner conversations, I promise you won't get past picking up ice all over the floor! After several times of picking up ice ALL OVER THE FLOOR, I emailed customer service. They were nice and sent someone to "fix" the problem right away but it's not fixable. He did all he could on adjustments and made the cube smaller but the ice still gets caught and when you pull the cup away, it just keeps coming. We thought choosing crushed ice would fix the problem but whole cubes come out with the crushed so that failed too. We are afraid to get ice! How ridiculous to have a new fridge and we don't even want to use the ice machine! So disappointed! Read other reviews. They all say the same thing! Wish I had read them before!! Don't buy any model with this ice maker in it!

Ice delivery system is a pain

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ice is constantly jamming up in the door and then creating landslides of ice out the chute which overflows your cup and ends up on floor. Our floor is wood and this refrigerator is ruining it.

Nice!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very nice looking refrigerator and the space inside is great. The exterior finish is so much nicer than regular stainless steel because you don't have to worry about fingerprints all over it. The lighting inside is also very nice! The reason I give this a 3 instead of a 4 is because of the water/ice dispenser. First of all, it is very loud when it is making ice. Second, having the ice maker not in the door makes it take up quite a bit of space inside the freezer. Third, when you are trying to get ice it sometimes takes awhile for the ice to come out and then a huge amount comes out at once (it also gets clogged in the door quite a bit). Lastly, the little hose that dispenses the water is way out in front of the ice dispenser so many times water sprays out getting all over the place instead of the cup. Most cups are not big enough to actually push against the lever and still reach the water hose so you must use your hand to push it and keep the cup in the correct place. It is not a problem for ice. I think I would prefer to have the ice and water come with separate levers.

Nielson6, thank you for taking the time to share your refrigerator review. It sounds like your dispenser is jamming. Are there any ice cubes stuck between the ice maker and the rear of the ice bin? If so, please remove the cubes and replace the bin in the proper position. If the dispenser is still jamming, check inside on the bottom of the ice bin, to see if has ice melted and frozen around the auger in your ice bin (the spiral metal bar in the bottom)? If so, please remove the ice container, thaw and empty the contents (my family uses too much ice for me to melt it, so I put it in a bowl), clean and dry the container, and replace in proper position (being careful to avoid rotating that auger). When new ice is made, the dispenser should operate normally. Your feedback is reviewed online by our product gurus, who I'm sure will find value in your observations. The normal sounds your refrigerator may exhibit are addressed on page 29 of your Owner’s Manual. Very nice fridge

Lots of lights to see inside and the doors are nice and deep. the ice maker tends to jam a bit so intermittently I have to get a large glass to unjam all the cubes that are in the chute to be released. I have noticed a big difference that produce lasts a lot longer for me in this refrigerator

Would be happier if the water that came out was chilled. plastic on shelves is a bit rough and has managed to take skin off of multiple family members as well.
