While I have had this for quite some time, I should have complained sooner. The freezer makes SO MUCH NOISE. You can hear the water filling the ice tray from the 2nd floor of my house. It groans and moans all day long. The ice gets jammed all the time. I guess you get what you pay for- cheaply made.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this thing in 2016. From day 1 the ice maker has been a time suck and a source of frustration multiple times per day. The ice dispenser clogs several times each day, and it requires opening the freezer door to unclog the hole through which the ice cubes must fall to the glass or other receptacle. There is clearly a fundamental design flaw. The hole is too small or the ice maker creates ice cubes are too large. Despite several service calls and extended service calls, this problem has never abated. The company should have some kind lemon law that either replaces the the part or the entire appliance.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the smudge resistant front and ice maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how quickly it makes ice even without using the 'quick ice' feature. The storage is great. As someone who has 15 different 2L bottles inside along w/other items it stores what I need on the refrigerator-side. I find the freezer to be on the small-side so families of 4 might find a need for a larger unit or a stand-alone freezer. The one 'bad' thing is the ice maker will sometime 'jam' and I've learned that as soon as I stop having ice come out but still here it dispensing it is to immediately open the freezer door. The first two times I learned the hard way and when I opened it up had ice go ALL over the kitchen floor.
I live alone so this suites me well but I wonder about 'normal' size families.

Well I know I won't win a prize for this review, but OH well. Had to have 1st one replaced with this one to many problems with other one. Then when I finally got this one the ICE MAKER did not work right. Had to have new ICE MAKER installed. Still a hit and a miss with getting enough ice for just me, will hate it when I have guests or company they will have to bring their own ice with them. You need to find ot why ICE MAKERS are not working like they are suppose to.

Ice/Water dispenser Bad

The water dispenses so far forward that if you have a smaller (circumference) glass, water goes everywhere. Ice gets stuck in the dispenser ALL the time! It will continue to run and ice backs up even if you remove your glass. Then when you open the door, ice goes everywhere.

In door ice and water is horrible!

Ice and water dispenser in the door are the worst I have ever used. The water spout is too far forward and when filling smaller glasses water goes all over the floor. The ice dispenser frequently jams and will not shut off leaving you with ice all over. Also when someone uses crushed ice the dispenser will not shut crushing ice when trying to get cube ice. You have to take the ice tray out of the fridge and empty out all of the ice.
Ice maker also overfills the ice tray and get cubes every where inside the freezer.
