I am pleased with the new design features as compared to my old unit. The only thing that I might criticize, is it could be a bit quieter.

Ice Maker is a clunker!!

I love this fridge - nice storage - no squeaky drawers as others have reported. The lighting is great and the veggie drawer - meat drawer - fruit drawer are great. BUT - the ice maker jams all the time when getting cubes. Have taken to using crushed ice and have no jamming! BUT my husband has to leave the room due to the noise!
Did Fridgidaire ever consider using ice makers with small square cubes instead of the long half moon cubes? I would buy that in a heartbeat!!

The temp setting on the front has already failed. Gives false reading and changes constantly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Evaporator Fan Freeze UP

Due to a design flaw, the evaporator fan on my freezer became covered in ice and stopped working. Everything else in the fridge is fine, but it was a pain to have to scramble to get food on ice. I lost about half of the food.
