Love the smudge free finish!

I have 3 dogs and 3 kids and the smudge free finish is wonderful! I am not constantly cleaning nose and hand marks. Oh and the rest of the fridge is great too.

Perfect side by side fridge.

This is the second Frigidaire that I have bought. Lots of room, bright lights and ample drawer space. The ice maker and ice bin is smaller than on the previous model I had. I use a lot of ice and have to buy bags of ice when I have a gathering.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great fridge!

We bought this fridge 6 weeks ago for our new house. All in all it's a great fridge! Love the smudge free feature - easy to clean. Only complaint is the ice maker - ice tends to get stuck in door compartment and makes a mess when you try to get it out.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We purchased this refrigerator thinking it would be an updated version of the one that came with our townhouse in 1993. We were wrong. The ice-maker is manual, so you have to remember to turn it off and on. The ice gets stuck and jams, so when you place your glass against the lever, you get a grinding notice and then a blast of ice that goes all over the floor. We basically have the same refrigerator and didn't even need to buy a new one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Attractive with some shortcomings

This is an attractive refrigerator, it is smudge proof and does not show fingerprints. However we are not impressed with aspects of the design. The door hinges make snapping sounds when we open and close either door. The Frigidaire customer service representative promptly and without hassle arranged for a local repair shop to replace the hinges. The work is scheduled soon so we'll see if this helps. Once or twice an hour we listen to a series of loud pops when the system charges, lasting about 10 seconds. Annoying but probably not unique to this unit. We noticed that liquids freeze on the left side of the top shelf, even when set to the recommended temperature, because that is where the cooling vent is located. This limits space availability for items like milk and yogurt. As others have mentioned, ice sometimes jams in the dispenser causing an occasional mess. One little thing that bugs me is that the water dispenser tube is located too far from the activating arm so it takes some maneuvering to dispense water in a small container. One would think that simple user testing should have caught this design flaw. The water and air filters are easy to replace, but the long water filter takes up valuable space on the top shelf. (The repairman warned me that the electronic replacement reminder resets when you lose power--be sure to mark in pencil when filters are replaced.) So at the end of the day this is an attractive refrigerator that gets the job done, but not designed for efficient use.

Okay Refrigerator

I like the fridge, but I did encounter a little problem. The Control Panel lights started dying on me and it can be a little loud sometimes, but everything else is working correctly. The loudness most likely comes from the defroster.

40 breakdown

After 40 days it broke down took three weeks to repair had to by a back up fridge and eat out for three weeks because of a failed fan motor
