Great Refrigerator!

I bought this frig to go in a new home. We are enjoying the frig very much. It looks great and has amazing led lights--a light show every time you open the doors! Because of the clear shelves and drawers you can see everything. Basics of cooling, water in the door and ice are great, too. Love the water filter, and...the interior air filter. The list could go on...check it out for yourself

Has some issues with noise, drawer, door leveling

I had a 13 year old version of essentially the same refrigerator. I had read some reviews prior to purchase saying it was loud. I thought they were probably referring to the ice dropping into the ice maker bin, as that was the only noise my old one made. It turns out this refrigerator does indeed make several different very load noises. One is a rat a tat tat noise that goes on for at least 20-30 seconds sporadically. It also makes several other loud noises. When I am upstairs it almost sounds like someone is in the house! I had also read other complaints that it doesn't make ice fast enough. While it does produce ice slowly initially (the manual says a full bin in 2 days), once the bin was full I have had no problems with the quantity of ice, and I drink large tumblers of ice water all day every day. In addition, the top drawer was sticking and not sliding nearly as easily as the other drawers. Frigidaire was excellent about quickly sending me a new drawer bracket and some lubricant to alleviate the problem. Finally, the freezer and fridge doors were not aligned, one was a good two inches higher than the other. It was not easy to adjust them to equal height. They should ship with the doors aligned in my opinion, but maybe all side by sides are like this. The lighting in the fridge is a big upgrade from my old one, and things are easy to see. The water/ice dispenser is also better than my old fridge, but nothing fancy. Overall this fridge was about what I expected as it has a layout very similar to the old one, except for the above issues. The loud noises are the worst issue. I think it is probably one of the better side by sides beyond the noises.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The frig is beautiful my only problems is the basket on the left side keep sliding/popping off the rack, also you cannot put enough food in/on the shelves or basket on the left or the brackets that hold them will start to bend and look like it will pop out the sides where the screws are. The water and ice machine seem to sometimes not know the difference between the crush/whole ice I will push crush and whole ice will come out which I hate because I love crush ice...other than that far as keeping my food cold/frozen and how wide the door open I would add another *

Enormous capacity and great overall design

Bought this for our vacation home. I think our favorite feature is the LED lights inside. It has enormous capacity and keeps foods very cold and very fresh.

Perfect Replacement

When the old one died, we went shopping and this is the one that kept catching our eye. It filled all our immediate needs and the sale price was doable. We are having an issue with the top drawer wanting to stick, but we will get that looked into. For whatever reason, this frig seems much roomier than our old one. Love the ice, crushed ice and water through the door. Such a convenience we never had before.
