Ice dispenser spews out ice everywhere

We bought the fridge 2 months ago and the ice dispensers will spew out ice and not stop when you release the lever. It also sometimes just dispenses crushed ice when you've selected cube. a couple times the lever has even got stuck.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Average but does not meet expectations

I bought this refrigerator to replace one that ran continuously and cost too much operate. The Frigidaire is cheaper to operate but isn't as well built. The shelves in the freezer fall out of the tracks that are supposed to hold them in place. The drawers in the refrigerator get stick and are hard to open and close. The door shelve latching mechanism are poorly designed and don't hold the shelves in securely. Ice cubes get stuck in the ice chute causing a mess when the door is open to stop the dispenser and clear the chute.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Large capacity and no wasted space

We bought this unit 2 months ago and are very happy with it. The large capacity satisfies a family of six. The ice maker has had no problems keeping up with demand.

Nice, but watch it!

In less than 30 days after purchase, had to have a service call as the auger motor for the icemaker went out. Inconvenient experience but so far so good since..

After whole year of spoiled food and techs in and out of my house, with no reimbursement for ruined food or damages, finally get a new one and have not had the first problem and hope we never do!!! It has been a nightmare for a whole year and probably will not ever go with Frigidaire again!! Appreciate new one but should of had replacement much sooner!! May have been happier customer!!

The motors are very very loud. I assume this is not normal, we placed a service call to check it out. The other complaint is the ice machine. Ice frequently gets jammed in the maker and it stops producing ice until we clear it out. The ice dispenser sticks as well and ice just keeps tumbling out onto the floor. We purchased this unit because of the good reviews, maybe we just got a bad unit. Overall, I am not very satisfied.

With the newer high-efficiency design you will experience sounds you were not previously familiar with, with a refrigerator purchased 20 years ago. Please review the Normal Operating Sounds and Sights on page 24 of your owner’s manual. To assist in ice jamming in the ice chute you can periodically empty the ice container.
