Great Features and Quality

I bought this about a month ago and have really liked the door front display that lets you know the temp of the fridge and freezer, and also lets you control other features.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice to look at....

We have owned the refrigerator for two months and it does what it is suppose to do. However, it makes the weirdest noises and it's pretty loud. To the point, we will put the TV on mute to listen. One night we thought an intruder was in the house because of the odd noises it will make.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It looks great and is a definite upgrade from our previous refrigerator. It's is small however though it doesn't look so. Also, Ice gets stuck very easily and you have to clean it out daily.

Loud and very little ice

I got this refrigerator 6 months ago and I have to say it is the loudest one I have ever owned. I have to shut my bedroom door even though it is 30 feet away. It makes more noises than my old 1979 Jeep. This is my third refrigerator and with all the others I always slept with the door open but not anymore.
The ice maker is the worst design ever. I only get about a pitcher and a half of ice when it is full, not good when you are having friends over. The ice dispenser gets clogged up all the time and then you have to open the door and pick out the ice in the door by hand to unblock the cubes, what a pain. If you ever want to take out the whole ice tray be ready for a big mess on the floor. anytime you pull the ice drawer out or remove it all together to dump in a cooler the design makes it impossible not to drop ice everywhere.
The design is good, looks nice and love seeing the temp's inside while 10 feet away but until they fix the decibel level and ice maker I will never buy another one.

Fridge is only OK

There are several issues with this fridge. First, the chill drawer is hard to pull open and close. Also, there is a defect in the glass shelving. Each shelf has a circular imprint in the same place.
I also thought this model would beep if the door was left ajar. Even with the door ajar the temperature reading does not change.
The ice maker is extremely loud and continues to make ice even when the bin is full.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hey No luck with fridges, I'm sorry to hear about you refrigerator experience. I recommend using wax paper to help with the gliding of your drawers. The door ajar will display and the alarm should sound if the door has been left open for over 5 minutes. I would make sure that your control board is responding properly with the door sensors. Also, check to see if the wire signal arm is not frozen with ice to prevent the icemaker from making ice when full. Love my new Frigidaire!

I have had my new Frigidaire side by side now for over a month, I love the space and the water/ice door feature. The only complaint I have is that I have to get used to having one place where the water/ice comes from, whereas my old Frigidaire, there were dual cup shoots, one for water, one for ice. I keep forgetting to check which light is on and when I want water I get ice and ice fly's out all over the floor, because I usually have a water bottle under the water hose and it has a small opening. But as soon as I get used to checking the option light (and get tired of picking up ice off the floor), I think it will be fine.

Horrible Ice maker

All is good with this refrigerator except the ice maker/dispenser. Ice cubes are all joined together and the dispenser is unable to break them into their individual cubes for dispensing. This causes the dispenser chute to become clogged with large pieces of ice. This jams the dispenser door open making the dispenser "think" a glass is still under the dispenser and it continues to run even after removal of the glass. This makes the problem worse as it continues to try to force more ice into the clogged chute. Warranty repair has come out three times. Once completely replacing the ice maker and twice adjusting the water level in the ice tray. All no help. This is a BAD design, not a defect in materials or workmanship. Older Frigidaire had a different ice maker and it works very well.

My previous refrigerator was a Frigidaire - side by side and it only lasted 10 years. Too many problems. To be honest, I purchased this model because it fit the space. It works very well, but I have notice that the sounds from the unit sounds like it has a digestive problem. The noises are loud at time. Also, the ice cubes get jammed up at time and cause an avalanche of cubes.
I would recommend this to a friend!
